The condominium is beautifully and professionally appointed. There is a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar that can accommodate private dinners or for entertaining larger crowds as well. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and bathroom. There are three TVs, a DVD/VCR player, and a washer/dryer for providing ease and convenience to our guests.
Couples and families are given relaxing, yet luxurious smoke-free, pet-free accommodations. The king-size bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom, bunks in the hallway, and queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps up to six in your party. There are two full bathrooms, which is rare in all of the Destin area and adds to your comfort.
Pelican Isle is one of the newest luxury condominium buildings on Okaloosa Island, built in 2003. The Pelican Isle building itself is decorated with beautiful and bright colors of the Caribbean. There is also a fitness center overlooking the beach, which includes a treadmill and elliptical trainer. For those who cannot leave work at home, there is a High Speed internet connection in your condominium as well.
Just six miles from Destin, Okaloosa Island has ten great restaurants, shopping, miniature golf, the Gulfarium, and all the water activities, all without the hustle and bustle and traffic of Destin. Okaloosa Island prides itself on a huge fishing pier, boardwalk, and public esplanade with dining and entertainment, so do not forget your fishing gear and enjoy the activities right on the Gulf of Mexico. Shuttle service around Okaloosa Island and Destin is provided by the Okaloosa County Transit for those who prefer not to drive. Stops are made at restaurants, shopping centers, additional beach locations, and the Emerald Coast Convention Center.

Our stay was excellent. Fast and very friendly communication with the owner. I have been vacationing in Fort Walton Beach for many years. This was the first 1BR condo I've ever stayed in and I must say it was very roomy and comfortable. It was very nice to have 2 full bathrooms as well. I'm disabled and use a mobility scooter. The condo was very accommodating to all of my needs. The large walk-in shower was awesome. No check-in upon arrival is required, and no keys to worry about; numeric key pad on door for entry. Comfortable furniture and bed. Nice balcony with an awesome view of the Gulf and beach! Great location ... Just minutes away from the Santa Rosa Mall, souvenir shopping, and awesome dining places. Staff's restaurant is one of my all time favorites!! The condo was very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this condo.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
