La Resaca, or 'a restful place' is a historic vacation retreat located on the famous 17 mile drive just minutes from the Lodge at Pebble Beach. Situated among cypress, oak and pine trees with views of Point Lobos and the Pacific Ocean, La Resaca is perfect for golf enthusiasts, equestrians, cyclists, and beachcombers alike.
Built by vintner, Paul Masson as a hideaway in the late 1940's, La Resaca was conceived in the traditional Mediterranean tile and stucco architecture common to the original haciendas of the region. It is stunningly appointed with beautiful antiques,and linens and a rustic stone fireplace. It is a peaceful, luxurious spot, in keeping with the extraordinary surroundings of the Carmel coast.
