What an amazing cabin! We just visited the week of Thanksgiving and had such a fun stay! The cabin is equipped with everything that one would need and all of the finishes are truly lovely! Very cozy and comfortable! The fireplace was perfect for making smores - and the perfect setup for two small children (the screen actually closed and locked). The beds were awesome too! Our youngest son decided that he liked it so much there, that our first night he started walking! A really special place - we can't wait to go back!

This is a well-appointed cabin in a location not far from Tahoe city. The hot tub is reasonably large and works well. Internet access is fine. The entertainment system has good pretty good sound with a mid-sized tube TV. The kitchen is modern and fairly well stocked with equipment and utinsels. The bathroom is great but there is only one. The beds are comfortable. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Sunnyside bus stop. Overall, a very nice place.

Our trip to Tahoe City is becoming quite a family tradition. This is our second stay at Chateau Pine and once again, we enjoyed every minute. We hope to visit again.

My mom, sister and I enjoyed a wonderful girls getaway weekend here with all the comforts of home (and then some!) After skiing all day under the beautiful sunny sky of Tahoe, coming back for a long soak in the hot tub under the stars was the perfect way to end the day. You've made it very difficult to leave so we've bookmarked your listing so we can come back soon!

First off, amazing cabin. Rustic, relaxed and a great place to recuperate. We never though we could feel so at home being so far away from home. Oh yeah, the hot tub was an experience. Much aloha from Hawaii.

Words cannot express how much we loved our stay at your home. We were fortunate to have an extended leave to bond with our children, 6 months and 2 years. We had a wonderful 25 nights! It was very had to pack up and go home. Thank you for a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and kid friendly home. I grew up spending summers in Tahoe City, so special to now bring my kids here. We will always cherish our time here. Thank you for the welcoming flowers and wine! We will definately be back to Lake Tahoe and hope to find Chateau Pine available! Thanks for everything.

What a wonderful place to get away! The location is just right: away from road noise, but close enough to town, lake and activities. The cabin is so nicely done! We've very much appreciated the internet access, as I'm "technically" still at work. We enjoyed a long hike and biking and the private beach. A great place for 2 people to stay!

High school friends from Michigan celebrating our 45th birthdays. We enjoyed catching up with each other in this comfortable home and scenic setting. We took advantage of the outdoor fun such as hiking, kayaking and rafting. It was a pleasure meeting you and appreciated your suggestions for hot spots, ie. Chamber's punch and Fiamma's. Dinner was spectacular! We look forward to our next visit. Thanks for the wine. Tahoe City Rocks!
