Near everything Orlando has to offer! (But we must admit our favorite is the new Harry Potter at Universal!) The home has all linens, towels, baby gear, and entertainment you could ever need. There are security alarms fitted to the sliding doors leading to the pool area and a pool screen is provided for extra safety for peace of mind (we've got six kids of our own!). A safety gate, stroller, and a pack and play are provided for infants. The garage is filled with toys, a foosball table, bicycles, and too many other things to mention. For the adults, you may escape to the extended deck by the pool, or the upstairs balcony which is perfect for sunbathing or relaxing with a chilled beverage. Every room has its own television and DVD player. Our Villa also features; wireless internet access, a desktop computer for your use, Sony Playstation2, Nintendo Wii, 42' plasma TV, washer/dryer, and countless other amenities. The home is also beautifully decorated (thanks to Julie and Bill!).
PERFECT location!: Cumbrian Lakes is close enough to Disney that, even in traffic, we've made it there in as little as 15 minutes...which based on our many previous stays on Disney properties, is much faster than the Disney bus (which can also be very crowded). We've taken trips to one park in the morning and another in the afternoon or evening, sometimes even switching between Disney and Universal and hanging out at our own pool in the middle of the day - when you are this close, why not? After the rides and crowds, there really is nothing better than coming back 'home' to relax in the peace and quiet of the Villa and just stare out at the lake and wildlife - where normally the only sounds we hear are coming from our own children. The beaches, fishing, cruise ship terminal, and NASA Space center are only an hour away and Sea World, Disney, Universal, themed restaurants, playgorunds, golf, museums and more are only minutes away.
PERFECT size!: The 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, extended pool deck area with fully screened lanai, and three en-suite bedrooms make this the perfect escape for multiple families, large families, families with small children/toddlers, families with teenage children, girlfriend's holiday, boy's vacation or multiple couples who travel together. All six bedrooms have their own television and dvd player. The kitchen is full size, and is loaded with appliances, utensils, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, and space to eat at the elegant table or at the breakfast bar. The garage is a wonderful place for the kids to play with the hundreds of toys, legos, and board games along with a foosball table. The house is large enough to escape away to another area for some privacy when needed, and comfy enough to feel like home. Enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset from the peaceful master suite patio upstairs will be a moment you don't want to miss, and will easily remember.
PERFECT holiday!: There's almost too much in the villa to put into a description. You will truly feel like you have everything you need for a fun yet relaxing trip, just bring your bathing suit. The wireless broadband internet access allows you to stay in touch with those still at home, to check in via email or just make them jealous by sending your pictures. We like to use the desktop computer to watch our local sports teams through slingbox for big games. In addition, using facetime on an ipod or ipad over the network allows us to speak face to face with those not able to make the trip. There are plenty of DVD's and books already in the home, so there's always something to do. There's no way to do everything Orlando has to offer in just one trip, so take time to relax and just plan on coming back again next year!

I want to thank Amy Wood and family for the use of their awesome villa for the week. The price for the weeks stay was more than fair. The location was excellent. Not too close to the hustle and bustle, but close enough for easy access to the theme parks. Walmart is just minutes away. The pool was enjoyed by all. Everyone commented on how comfortable their sleeping arrangements were. I would describe this experience as having the comforts of home while still enjoying the luxuries of vacation. We really liked the keyless entry. Don't bother to pack the toys, games and floaties, they are already there waiting for you. For families with littles ones this is the villa for you. Alarms on all doors leading to the pool, and baby gates for the stairs. We enjoyed watching the alligator swim up and down the lake each day. We even saw a turtle dig a hole and bury her eggs. I could ramble on forever but I'll conclude by saying you can't go wrong renting here....Top notch!!! I'll definitely book this again for another family gathering in the Kissimmiee area. This house is absolutely amazing, I have never stayed in a place so nice. We had the best time here and did not want to leave. I highly recommend this house to anyone who needs a place to stay while in Florida. Very nice neighborhood. Everything you could possibly need, all you need to bring is your clothes and there is a wal-mart right down the street to get your groceries. The alligator in the back yard was very cool, and the ducks were as well. Thanks Wood family for giving us the opportunity to have such a wonderful experience.Did you find this review helpful? I went on vacation with my family and was absolutely amazed with this house! I felt like i was right at home, this house had everything i needed! I really didnt have to take much...The view from the pool was great! My kids loved the house and the pool. I was so happy that my family had a great time and in fact this will be my go to house from now on when i visit Florida again. Thank you so much for making my vacation the best and one to remember!!! 5 star house all the way! Highly recommend people picking this house for your vacation! my family and I stayed in this house for a week and it was spectacular!! The house was in great condition and had everything we needed in it. The parks were so close and shopping too! I was absolutely amazed with this house! My vaction was great and i would definitely go back, in fact this is my go to house from now on! Our second time at this lovely villa and not our last, as before everything was perfect, not least all the kindness shown by Bill and Julie. The only downside was that the three weeks flew fast. Weather was lovely, nice to cool down in the pool after a long day out. Or watch the kids in the pool with a nice cool "Bud". The villa is home from home and it helps make this the perfect holiday.
