  Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful vacation home. We had such a great time! The kids even told us that they would forego a trip to Disneyland next spring break if we could return to your home and the beach! Coming from 9, 8 and 4 year olds, this should tell you just how great a time they had! For those looking to rent, you can't go wrong with this rental. it's only a short drive to Santa Cruz and Monterey for quick day trips. The pictures posted are accurate, and the beach is just steps away! The house is equipped with everything you'll need including internet access, games, beach chairs, movies, spices, towels, etc..... We were even allowed a late checkout so we could enjoy the beach just a little longer on our last day. For young kids, I would also recommend purchasing the duck food at the gate. You get a huge bag of food for $2 and the kids end up surrounded by tons of ducks and geese as they feed them. It was a real treat for my girls :)! We will definitely be returning to this rental in the future!

  We had a great time during our stay at this condo. The unit was spotless and very well maintained. The kitchen and bathrooms were very modern. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. The condo is at the back of the complex and it was very quiet. We could see the sunset from the porch and master bedroom. Beach access was ridiculously easy, and the beach itself is one of the best I have experienced. The WiFi in this unit is spotty at best, which I think has more to do with the complex coverage, and less with the individual unit. Overall this condo exceeded our expectations and we would gladly stay there again.

  THANK YOU!!! For such an amazing stay at your condo again!! We absolutely loved it!! The weather was gorgeous and we saw some beautiful sunsets! The kids were so happy and it was easy to keep them busy. We love how private the beach is too. As always, the condo was so clean and comfortable. This is our favorite beach house!! :o)

  Our second girlfriends beach getaway to Parajo's Shorebird #66 and it was fabulous! Our group had our first stay in April and was so much fun we decided to come back in the fall. We have now decided to set these 2 dates as regular bi-annual events. The condo is so nicely done with appreciable upgrades. The decor is timely and very comfortable. The owner is great to work with. Can't say enough great things about the accommodations. Highly recommend the stay.

  We had a wonderful time at Shorebird 66. The accomodations have been kept up there and even improved on during the years. It can best be described as a rejuvenation week we spent there.

  Everything was very nice. My only negative comment involves the flight of stairs into the rental. It is very hard to carry luggage and grocery items up stairs. listing was very accurate.Owner was excellent in answering questionings and returning calls/e-mails. I would recommend the property with a warning about the stairway entrance

Its important to clarify for our new guests that we are on the top floor of a three story condominium. There is a ramp from the ground floor to the second, and then one flight of stairs to our front door. For that exrta effort we are rewarded with high vaulted ceilings, loads of light, a birds eye view of the Pacific, and sweeping views of Shorebirds cypress studded greenbelt, lagoon and the fertile valley beyond to the Santa Cruz Mountains. Theres no question that climbing those stairs with beach clothes and the makings for delicious meals can work up an appetite. When you return, and we hope you will, let us know in advance if you require assistance with luggage. Sincerely, Marilyn

  I have been meaning to write you and tell you we had a wonderful time at Shorebird 66 :) Despite the very big storm on Saturday and losing electicity for most of the day, we had fun on the beach and adventuring out and about in the area. Sunday was Gorgeous, sunshine and soft breezes. Thank you again for sharing your vacation home with us!

Storms at Pajaro Dunes are spectacular, not only when they are in full force, but often the sea and sky in anticipation of the event are amazing. If there were any particular adventures you enjoyed in the area, please share them so we can pass them on to other guests.   Nice condo, clean, fully stocked kitchen (including basic spices), washer/dryer. Nice central location for day trips down Hwy 1, to wineries, Carmel, Monterey, etc. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms. With the binoculars provided we were able to see sea otters and dolphins from the deck! Overall, very nice place to stay. Was slightly disappointed with the view. I was expecting a full ocean-facing view, but the condo was angled and the view wasn't as expansive as I thought it would be based on the photos. But again, overall very nice, and would definitely recommend it for people looking to stay on the Central Coast.

We are very proud of our property and work hard to maintain it as a second home rather than a typical rental unit. You mentioned the views as depicted in our photos. The master bedroom in the three bedroom units at Shorebird in Pajaro Dunes has a full on ocean view. That photo is described as view from the master bedroom on the webpage. The picture described as view from the deck off the living room was angled to avoid including a corner of the adjoining condo. But the ocean can in fact be viewed from that deck and the living room. We really appreciate your recommendation and hope you will return again when you are visiting our beautiful Monterey Bay area.
