If you are looking for a fabulous, spacious, "spoil yourself" home... nestled on the side of Pikes Peak with tall pine trees, wildflowers, wildlife, and your very own private hot tub... all minutes from Colorado Springs, look no further!
We welcome you to our 3200 square foot, custom, mountain home, completely furnished with two bedrooms upstairs, including a fantastic huge master suite with breathtaking views, king size comfy bed, sitting area, surround sound cable TV and a custom private bathroom with soaking tub, double sinks and a 12 jet - waterfall shower! All linens are ON the beds when you arrive, so you do not have to begin your trip by making the beds!
The second bedroom upstairs is delightful and spacious, with vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan, special lighting, a queen size bed, surrounded by stuffed animals...even a rocker. The closet in this room is huge with lots of shelves. This bedroom also has a Pella slider which takes you out to the back deck, incredible views of Pikes Peak and eventually the private hot tub.
Enjoy the "living" area that spans the living room, dining room (with fireplace) and a cozy sitting area...all on the upper level with hardwood floors. This area is full of windows and light with a huge "L" shaped couch, big screen TV with cable and surround sound, DVD player and sound system. Enjoy a book or a movie from our collection....there is lots of room to spread out and get lost in the mountains! Also located here is the high speed internet hook-up on it's own private desk, a great place to check your emails.
Now we move on to the downstairs....which has a separate bedroom suite plus a fabulous recreation room complete with darts, TV, living room area and the best feature of all....a custom bar for entertaining! There is a full bath ownstairs and an enclosed laundry room with top of the line front load washer and dryer.
You can exit the house from four different areas....all leading to either a raised deck or private flagstone patio. There is nice patio furniture to enjoy the outdoors, gas grill (you provide the propane) and of course the 6 person, private hot tub. The house sits on 1 1/2 acres so you have lots of privacy and will truly feel like you've escaped to the mountains!
The house is baby proofed with outlet covers, hearth covers and a locking secure gate at the top of the stairs. A full size Eddie Bauer highchair and a full size crib are included, with sheets, a rocker and changing table to make your stay super convenient. We know you need this to be your home away from home, so lots of books and toys are provided as well for those special little people.
There is so much to do in this area with wonderful quaint restaurants, hiking and a lake with a new play ground, fishing and ducks, plus the city of Colorado Springs is only 10 minutes away! To the west of us, about 5 minutes, is the awesome, brand-new Walmart. Skiing is easy, jump on hiway 24 and your only a hour and 1/2 away.

There were 7 of us and 3 of those where 5 and under. The little girls loved the toys and the stuffed animals. We loved being able to grill steaks and burgers and our 13 year old loved the radio!

Your home was perfect for our group of 2 couples and 4 children (all under 3). The kids loved the toys and childrens books. The adults loved the hot tub and the amenities. It was great to have the crib, high chair, kids outdoor table and the gate at the top of the stairs...everything we needed.
