This house was nice and close to all the places we wanted to go. It is by Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Atv trails and cripple creek. Had a great stay with no problems. Thanks agian for this affordable stay.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

It was a very good place to stay, very clean. The owner was very responsive to our request to stay. It is a long way up the mountain to the house -- and for an older person, because of the many stairs, it could be very difficult. But the view was great! Very family oriented. We thorough enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely visit in your Colorado home. The house was comfortable with all the conveniences. I especially appreciated having a washer, dryer and dishwasher. So often when you rent a house they are not available. The wireless internet was also a bonus. Tracking each days practice results and the race helped keep us in touch with what was going on. My husband won the PPIHC race for his class too!

The house was beautiful, wonderful, spacious... did I say beautiful?!? We got some snow too! I can honestly say, there are not many places where I'd be happy to be stranded, but a mountainside house in Cascade tops the list. The trip was wonderful. I have already given the VRBO link to many family members and friends.

Emily and I just wanted to say thank you so much for allowing us to rent your cabin. It was perfect! Even looking at the pictures before you never actually think that the place will look the same once you get there, but I would have to say that the pictures don't do it justice. I cannot even say how cool it was looking out the morning after it snowed and seeing the mountains!! Being from Iowa, that is a sight that we rarely get to see and one we wished we could see everyday.

Speaking for my husband, Michael, daughter, Gilly and myself, the minute we walked into your beautiful house, we were at home. From the chickens in the kitchen to the baskets of potpourri, we felt like we were in our own cabin, here in Wyoming. And we love our cabin, we love being in it and outside of it so we felt like we were here when there!

When we first arrived, the kids ran to every room and ooh'ed and aah'ed! They loved the house. The biggest challenge has been getting our gang going, since we all want to STAY around your lovely house! There were other rentals homes that were a bit cheaper, but we are SOOOO glad we chose yours! Happy New Year!

Well, we are all back at work now and remembering fondly our Colorado vacation. All of us very much enjoyed our stay at your home. The setting was just beautiful (and no scary roads!) and the house itself was just the perfect match for our family. It was really a good feeling for all of us to know that our little grandson Joey (2 years old) was able to enjoy himself with all the toys and not have to worry about the stairway. Everyone had a fabulous time. Our son Bill & his wife, Paula, especially enjoyed the huge master suite... Paula really loved the large shower with all the shower heads......She didn't want to ever leave. Our whole stay was very relaxing and comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. There were 7 of us and 3 of those where 5 and under. The little girls loved the toys and the stuffed animals. We loved being able to grill steaks and burgers and our 13 year old loved the radio!

Your house has a very personal feel to it, not like some sterile vacation rental. That really makes a difference! Your home was perfect for our group of 2 couples and 4 children (all under 3). The kids loved the toys and childrens books. The adults loved the hot tub and the amenities. It was great to have the crib, high chair, kids outdoor table and the gate at the top of the stairs...everything we needed.

Wonderful time at this home-away-from-home. Love the new hot water heater and the weather was perfect! 60's the whole time, except Easter weekend we got 6 inches of snow and it was breath-taking! The master suite was fantastic and HUGE and we entertained many a times in the family-room downstairs, at the bar! Thank you

Tremendous value! Nice location everything described on the listing is accurate the pictures don’t do it justice.If you have young children this is the place to say. Lots of toys and it is already child proof.
