Our deluxe units are lovely, private, clean, fully furnished, and reasonably priced, managed and run with Aloha by friendly owners since 1978. We speak English, German, and Spanish. We are not a booking agency. we are members of the Kailua Chamber of Commerce.
Priced at 189.00 per night for studios right on Kailua beach, $179,00 per night for a one bedroom unit in the same house right on the beach but with garden view, and $189.00 per night for a two bedroom, 2 bathroom unit located about 150 yards, a walk of about 2 minutes via a private right of way, away from Kailua Beach.

This was our first stay on Oahu. My husband and I spent the first few days in Honolulu, enjoying Waikiki, but then we drove to Kailua and discovered the real paradise that is Hawaii. We stayed in the upstairs studio, walked on the beach, swam in the warm water and fell asleep with the windows open, listening to the ocean waves. We could sit on the beach right in front of our door, or walk or drive to Kailua Beach Park where the ocean was calmer. Eva and Herman were so easy to work with, and made excellent suggestions for dining. We can't wait to go back!

My husband and I spent 11 wonderful days in the upstairs studio overlooking the beautiful beach! We could have stayed forever. The apartment had everything we needed, it was clean and private. Eva and Herman were fantastic hosts. Always available when we needed them. We could walk down the beach to a wonderful deli/market and get food for the day or go out to the sweet town of Kailua. We meant to explore the rest of the island but just couldn't pull ourselves away from "our private beach". We are looking at the calendar in hopes of returning soon. We had always stayed on Kauai, thinking that Oahu was to crowded, but not Kailua. Kailua is the best!

Travel is our hobby and I looked at many properties online before selecting this one. We stayed in the upstairs studio apartment. The location was superb. We fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the surf and enjoyed morning walks on the beach. The town and its restuarants are just a few minutes drive away. Kailua beach park, where you can rent a kayak, is an easy 15 minute walk from the property, so you don't need to drive there. While the unit could use some updated decor, it had everything we needed. We loved the ocean views!! You could even see the waves while sitting on the couch. We did find, however, the window air conditioning unit could not keep the room cool in the heat of the mid-afternoon. That would be our only complaint. If you want to stay on one of the best beaches anywhere and at a great rate, this property is an excellent choice.

The decoration might be a little outdated, but the studio is big, well furnished, and you have the most incredible beach at the end of the garden. You can go watch the sunrise with you cup of coffee, do some boogieboard, walk along the beach at sunset ! We spent 4 amazing days on Kailua Beach, which was most of the time deserted. One of our best memories of Hawaii ! I'm not sure you can find such a nice location for this price.

This was my Wife and I's second time staying here and it will not be our last! This is by far the best value for your money you can spend on the Island! Peaceful, Private and very relaxing! The town of Kailua is one of the friendliest places to shop or eat and there are plenty of places to do both! Cant wait to go back!!

We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at this lovely Hawaii vacation rental. It is on the most beautiful beach on Oahu. Kailua is a charming town with lots of neat places to eat, and shop. The rental unit felt private, it was very clean, modern and well furnished. It was easy to relax and feel right at home. Eva and Herman were most gracious hosts and very welcoming. We will come back here anytime we can make the trip.

This was our second time staying at Eva and Herman's Kailua Beach side property. Both times were incredible. We walked at sunrise every morning, ate and shopped in Kailua and Waikiki. Couldn't wait to return to Kailua. Eva and Herman are wonderful hosts and give you full privacy. At times, we felt like we were alone and on our own private beach. Can't compare with staying in Waikiki - Kailua is a dream come true for our family to visit. Thanks again Eva and Herman for the best vacation ever!

We stayed in the upstairs studio and absolutely loved it!! It was perfect for two people and a great location right on the beach. We got up early to walk the beach at sunrise each day. After touring the island, Kailua was still our favorite spot. Waikiki is nice to visit, but we preferred the tranquility of Kailua to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Mahalo to our hosts for our wonderful accommodations.
