  Me and the mrs. Had a great time. We enjoyed the condo it exceeded our expectations. Great tip for future vacationers. Use groupon or restaurant.com we got some goods deals on food and things to do. Also, the restaurant called hook'd in Panama City was great.

  We had a wonderful time at this condo. It was clean and beautiful just as in the photos. The property is well maintained and included everything for a comfortable stay. I appreciated the owner contacting us to make sure that we arrived safely and also when we departed for the trip home. I will be recommending this condo to friends and family in the future.

  Super Condo, We had a FANTASTIC Vacation in Destin and this Condo had all the necessary things to make it a memorable time. From beach toys for the kids, to a fully stocked kitchen. We were very happy we chose The Perch for our family vacation.

  My boyfriend & I had an amazing vacation while staying at The Perch! The condo is absolutely beautiful and had anything you would need during your stay. We enjoyed the pools and of course the beach being just seconds away! Also in walking distance to Pompano Joes and Captain Daves! I look forward to visiting again in the near future!!

  Our visit to Destin Fl. was GREAT! the Perch was very nice clean and cozy ... it was our daughters first time to the beach and it was very fun for them they loved every minute .. the Perch is in the back and very nice if yu dont like crowds . we are already planning our trip next year there and will stay in the perch again Perfect for a family of 4 ........................

  Awesome condo!! They had everything u didnt think of there especially in the kitchen! Very neat and clean and very elegant palm tree decorations! My husband, my 15 month old, and I stayed for a week and had plenty of towels and supplies left over, it is well stocked! This was our first condo rental and was very impressed! The owners are very sweet and are willing to work with you! I would recommend this condo again and we will come back hopefully soon!!

  My friend & I rented this condo for 1 week. If I remember correctly, we were the new owners’ first guests. We were shocked with how the condo was left for our vacation, it really needed cleaning. The bed linens & towels were clean; however, it appeared that was all that had been done. This wasn't just 1 time things weren't cleaned, based upon the mold growth around top of tub, in the tracks for glass doors on tub, around the glass doors themselves & even around the toilet bowl. Stove top hadn't been cleaned--there were fresh grease splatters all over it. Kitchen counters were dirty, refrigerator had dried mustard & mayo inside it--like I stated before, it appeared the only "cleaning" that had been done was placing clean linens on the bed & clean towels in the bathroom. The floors hadn't been swept, there were crumbs around table area, bar eating area, 1/2 full can of Diet Coke almost under the bunk bed, receipts & other trash under the bed & in the bathroom floor. Windex was the only type of cleaner in the condo. I wouldn't take a shower until it was cleaned, so I had to go purchase cleaning products & clean the tub, toilet, sinks, counters, stove, refrigerator, tables, had to sweep up the sand, crumbs & pick up trash. Condo didn't have internet service as advertised to find our way around & find places to go while on vacation. I couldn't believe I was having to clean on my vacation! We left the condo MUCH cleaner than it was when we arrived. Security deposit was refunded quickly--within 2 days. Owner offered to refund prepaid cleaning fee but then couple of days later wanted to give me 1/2 of refund, have me write a review then give other 1/2--I have the emails to prove it. Owners took almost 3 weeks to refund prepaid cleaning fee. I was shocked 1st by how dirty the condo was, 2nd by the time it took for owners to issue a refund of the prepaid cleaning fee. I don't think owners intentionally rented us a dirty condo, I believe they thought it had been cleaned, I suggested that they go with the cleaning service the other condo owners use. Personally, I won't rent from the same owners again.

  Owner response: If we had been made aware of the problems mentioned by this guest, we would obviously have corrected them immediately. Our rental agreement clearly states that a guest should contact us immediately upon noticing any damage or anything usual in the condo. We provide 24/7 maintenance and are 100% committed to caring for our vacation home (which is a dream come true for us) and ensure that our guests feel at home. This guest, however, emailed her complaints four days after she checked out. I would not have stayed in a place like the one she described – not even one night! She stayed an entire week without mentioning anything on the two text messages that we exchanged during her stay. Once she had checked out, there was not much that we could do other than be gracious, take her word for it, and offer a refund of the cleaning fee. We have investigated this thoroughly by contacting our maintenance company, our cleaning crew and guests that stayed before and after her – not one of them agreed to the statements she made. We were surprised that this review was published without further investigation, but upon contacting vrbo we were told by a Reviews’ Specialist that vrbo “does not investigate the truthfulness of reviews or take third party documentation. The guest review is their opinion and it cannot be removed.” There is nothing else for us to do or say, other than assuring our future guests our availability (24/7) and commitment to our home which we have the utmost care for.

  We've been coming to Destin since my kids were little. Now, they're all grown up with kids of their own, and we still come every year...only now we have a little larger group than we did back in the 70's and 80's. About 8 years ago, we discovered VRBO and learned about renting directly from the owners, and in 2008, we found this condo in Gulfview. It was owned by someone else then, but it was always immaculately clean when we got there, and if we had any problems during our stay, or just wanted to know what good restaurants had opened up since our beach trip last year, we just called the folks who take care of the place for the owner and let them know. This year, we booked our trip through the owner, and when he called us to tell us he had sold the condo, I have to say we were a little worried. Boy were we surprised! And in a good way. It turns out the new owners are a terrific young couple who truly care about their guests' experience. There was a brand new sofa, and internet for the younger troops. We found the place just as clean as ever, and they had left extra towels and soaps and shampoos because they knew we stayed there before. When my grandson told me the internet wasn't working on the day after we arrived, I called the number on the sign in the condo, and the same guy who helped us every other year answered the phone! This was a Sunday afternoon, and he was at our condo within the next 30 minutes to look at the internet. It turned out to be a cable company problem, and he couldn't fix it, but he had the repairman out the next morning and we were all set! Gulfview is not one of those brand new places with prices real people could never afford. It's a few years old, but the buildings and pools are very well taken care of, and our condo is always up to date. We are so glad the new owners are going to keep renting it out! We just love Gulfview. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else for our beach trip every year, and we have met so many great people over the years. The pool is always cool and clean and the incredible beach is really easy to walk to. Thanks Miss Valeria!!! We'll be seeing y'all next year!!!

Cancellation policy:

NO SMOKING IN UNIT OR ON BALCONY NO PETS MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 6 OCCUPANTS The individual making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the rental property the entire term of the reservation. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and/or rental money and you will not be permitted to check in. Please care for this condominium as if it were your own home. You will be charged for any abnormal loss, wear and damage to real or personal property within the unit during your occupancy. Please note any damage to the property upon your arrival and report it immediately to the management office.

You can cancel, but you will not receive a refund.
