We were coming to visit our daughter and needed last minute accommodations for three of our family members. This 2BR apartment was available and what a wonderful surprise! It is tastefully decorated with a modern kitchen and bathroom, and very well maintained. We are a large family and when we come to Beaufort, it is always a challenge to find somewhere for all of us to stay together. Now that I know about these properties, this will be first on my list to check for availability.
Owner response:While we normally rent by the week or month, we are also happy to accommodate guests for 3-night stays when we have the availability. And . . . when the potential guests are the parents of our Chamber of Commerce President/CEO, . . . we were very happy that we had availability and look forward to having their large family return to stay with us for longer stays! --- Brenda

I began looking on line for a place to stay for a couple of weeks when my daughter was returning from a 7 month deployment from Afghanistan. I was very hesitant to take a place site unseen. I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the Manhatten. The accomodations were very nice and were more than reasonably priced. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located from downtown Beaufort and a straight drive to the Marine Air Base for my daughter. It was also only about a 7 minute drive to Lady's Island and about a 20-30 minute drive to Hunting Island State Park. When my daughter's arrival date was pushed back over Memorial Day Weekend, and all of my daughter's cousins could not find rooms to stay the additional time, Brenda put them up in a home next to the apartment for an extremely reasonable price. As it turned out, my daughters arrival was postponed numerous times, and they had to leave. However, Brenda helped make a bad situation much better. Anything we needed was promptly supplied. I stayed with my daughter and her 21 month old son in the apartment. There was a nice playground a block away which he thoroughly enjoyed. There are sidewalks everywhere, making it easy to stroll him. I feel this is a wonderful vacation rental for a small family or for those older folks looking for a get-away for the winter. I liked the large, fully furnished kitchen. I also enjoyed the front porch. Brenda has a beautiful garden area in front of the apartment. It is a relaxing place to sit and watch the bicycle riders and children heading for the playground. I could go on and on, but the main things to know are that the accomodations were very nice, reasonable, and Brenda was the best hostess (as we say in the South.) I would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:I can think of nothing more agonizing that waiting for a family member to return from serving in Iraq or Afghanistan . . . and to have that arrival delayed repeatedly. The delays meant that other family members who had also come to welcome these service members home found themselves on the street because all the local hotels were booked. We were more than happy to help out provide them with emergency accommodations so that they could stay a few more days until their service members arrived. -- Brenda

We spent the month of March, 2010 at the Tuscan part of this condo and enjoyed it very much. It was clean, and nicely redone and decorated. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had. I just wish there had been more sun on our balcony. The location is very convenient; perfect for an uptown rental and you can walk most anywhere in downtown Beaufort. And there are some great little shops right around the corner. All in all, it was a very nice place to stay and I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone.

We stayed in the one bedroom unit and were very happy. Brenda, the owner, also showed us the upstairs 2 bedroom unit and it was totally beautiful. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Beaufort. It is nice and centrally located, so a quick trip to anywhere.

I have stayed at Magnolia Court twice, and I very much enjoyed the stay both times. It is nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer when you are away from home. It is also nice to be so close to the water. I will definitely stay there again.

Magnolia Court is the perfect alternative to staying in any of the local hotels. It is much quieter, better location and better parking. The spacious and beautiful interior along with the weekly & monthly rental, make it a much better bargain. The owner, Brenda, quickly sent items left in the apartment. If you choose to stay in a hotel, instead of Magnolia Court, you will never get to know a much more wonderful way to experience Beaufort.

My husband and I spent a very comfortable week in the one bedroom unit in January 2009. We found the unit to completely meet our needs. It was very clean, up-to-date and well located. We look forward to our next stay

We were highly impressed with Magnolia Court....it is beautifully furnished with a decorator's touch, yet very comfortable with every amenity. We stayed in Apt 1 for a week and truly felt like we were at home. We enjoyed the proximity to the waterfront, downtown area, and all of the other wonderful things the area has to offer. We definitely recommend this property !

I would like to say that my stay was outstanding.I stayed in several hotels prior to moving into Magnolia Court and hands down Manolia Court is the best. I had three times more room and in the long run I saved more money. I truly believe that the rooms are worth much more than is currently charged. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a luxury room at a non-luxury price, give Magnolia Court a try!!!

My stay in the 2 bedroom suite was awesome. The place is very clean, neat, and complete with all the comforts of home. Cable, internet, and a bed fit for a King. Everything you need for a short vacation or an extended stay. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to all traveling to the low country to give it a shot. Close to downtown for shopping and beautiful scenery. A must see.

We were very pleased with the suites. The place is immaculate, everything: furniture, linens, kitchen utensils, all seems brand new.The courtyard is beautifully landscaped.I always try to rent homes instead of hotels and am often disappointed. Most people stock their rental homes with leftover furnishings, appliances, and electronics, but you can tell that the owner put alot of thought into decorating these cottages.I will definintely stay there again when returning to Beaufort. Thanks!

I wanted to thank you for a wonderful time in Beaufort. Having a family of five starting at two years old and going on vacation can be stressful. The townhouse was perfect fit for our active family. The were spotless inside and had everything we needed with the full kitchen and laundry room. I didn't realize how close we were to the park and the boat ramp that we were able to walk or ride our bikes downtown or to the park. My husbandf was also glad that we were able to park our boat right there at the townhouse. Thank you for a beautiful vacation. -The Smith's Jill, Chris, Carson, Dillon & Brice

Several friends and I stayed in apt 2 for the wedding of a good friend. We were delighted with the rooms. They were beautifully decorated and provided us with all the amenities of a luxury suite you might find in a large hotel. The location was also great: we could also walk everywhere! Highly recommended!

As a new facility, we have been delighted with the response from our guests. Those who happen to have friends in town have made a point to invite them over to see where they're staying. We have also have long-term guests move to Magnolia Court from facilites they considered "sterile" because each of our units is so beautifully and individually appointed.
