  The owner of this condo was very patient with answering our many questions before & after paying our deposit. The location & the condo complex suited us perfectly It was within walking distance of town without the traffic, noise, etc. The grounds, pool & hot tub were all well kept. The gated, covered parking was appreciated. We liked the quiet upstairs corner location of the condo. We enjoyed the privacy that the balcony afforded. The condo was very well appointed. The kitchen, the linen closet, & the bathroom was fully stocked. There was ample seating in the living room, dining room, & on the deck. This is not always the case in VRBO condos. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. Also, the blinds made it nice & dark for sleeping. Having a dishwasher in the kitchen and having a laundromat on site was very handy.There was a big closet in the bedroom for storing luggage. It was so nice not to have to look at our suitcase. We, each had only one complaint. My husband found the sofa bed almost impossible to sleep on even when he used both mattresses from both sofas. They just couldn't support his back & he is under 150 pounds. My complaint was the condition of the area rug in the dining room & the one in the kitchen. They were very dirty & stained. They were not really necessary to have in the condo, especially, in their condition. We would recommend this condo to friends, family, etc. We would book this condo, again.

  Owner response: Thank you very much for your feedback. My humblest apologies and I am researching alternatives regarding the sofa beds. As for the area rugs, I get mixed responses to having them or not having them, but I was surprised to learn they were dirty during your stay. I may off to clients the option of letting me know if they are dirty and I can arrange to promptly get them cleaned either on-site or removed and returned. Carpeting, rugs, area rugs; they all are easy to soil. That is why in this unit, I replaced carpet in the entire unit with tile. Every seems to like that just fine, so far. Thanks again for your comments. I take it all, the good, the bad, and ugly, as they say....very seriously and try to determine the best way to accommodate my guests. Almost everyone who rents from me is on vacation, so having it "right" is very important to me. Your input is ALWAYS greatly appreciated. Jerry Johansen Owner/Manager

  We arrived after a long flight from the UK and were in the apartment by 10pm. It is our 4th visit to the Palm Springs International Film Festival and we have stayed in different apartments in the Biarritz complex. We choose to stay there as we can walk to all the film venues and the local buses are frequent and inexpensive. This particular apartment offered very good value for money and we were generally comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook meals without any problem. The flat screen TV's are good and there is ample hot water at all times. The air conditioning is good. The bed was very comfortable but the 2 sofas were not comfortable and i think they are pretty old! There is a large balcony but it is not in a very sunny position. The weather was variable and at times chilly. Overall we were very pleased with the apartment and with our dealings with the owner who has been honest and friendly in his dealings with us. Well done

  We enjoyed our visit to Palm Springs thanks to the great location of this condo unit. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and attractions. The condo itself has a hugh private patio on the second floor. The entire condo area is well kept and very clean. The pool was a must every afternoon.

  We stayed in this condo for a weekend in April. There were 3 of us females coming into Palm Springs for a work assignment to cover an annual music festival. We spent ALL of our free time in this lovely condo cooking or hanging out by the pool! Although the couch was different than the one pictured in the photo (we were told it was replaced for a more comfortable pull out bed/couch) everything else was just as posted on the listing. We had all the amenities one would want in their own home. We even barbequed on the simple to use grill on the patio- that's big time coming from 3 girls that have never used one before! BTW- we never once used the inside dining table. We loved being out on the patio with the warm air and the beautiful sunsets so we chose to eat all of our meals at the table on the balcony. There were plenty of towels and linens to make our stay comfy and to keep us dry on our numerous trips out to the pool. The pool was just a few feet away from the bottom of our stairwell which made it convenient for back and forth trips to use the restroom in our condo or to get refills on refreshments. We loved the location. It was walking distance to everything! Jerry takes great pride in his condo's and we will definitely be renting from him again!

  Our two week stay in August/Sept 2009 was much enjoyed in large part to the wonderful accommodation we enjoyed at this lovely decorated and comfortable Biarritz apartment. Conveniently located whether walking or driving we highly recommend this VRBO. It truly felt like a home away from home. The owner was exceptional in all aspects of our comfort and enjoyment during our two week stay. We would stay again. Julia & Henry
