Our beautiful Emerald Coast contains some of the most diverse recreation choices along Florida's drastically under-appreciated Gulf Coast, and some of the best options for visitors seeking an affordable family vacation. Our Northwest Florida Beaches International airport (EMC) and our Destin, (VPS) airport have made more flights available for this area and more affordable .
Once upon a time, DESTIN was not pet friendly. In 1992 McDANIEL PROPERTIES purchased their first condo for just that reason, to accommodate pet friendly families. Our many clients have become regular visitors to Destin and to Maravilla Condos.
Maravilla's Gulf front view building is #2, faces the Gulf of Mexico and overlooks our sugar white beach, with an unobstructed view. There is an ocean view pool, portico, beach shower, pool side rest rooms and grills to accomodate Bldg. #2.
Maravilla 2301 is a third floor corner unit, with a larger balcony, and a direct view of the Gulf. It is upgraded each year. The master bedroom opens onto the balcony, has a king size pillow top mattress, is plantation height for an optimunm view of the Gulf , a mirrored wall to enhance the view and a West window for viewing the sunsets. A wall mounted 36"LCDTV was added this year . A large closet and full bath adjoin the master bedroom. For those wanting to sleep in, we have custom drapery with black out liners.
The guest bedroom has a pillow top gueen size bed, with accessable bath. This room also has a new flat screen TV/DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need for your stay. The dining table seats 4, bar seats 2. There is a laundry room with full size washer /dryer and storage cabinet.
The nautical colors compliment the beautiful Gulf View from your living room, complete with sofa, two "comfy" chairs and an entertainment center with TV/DVD/STEREO/High speed wireless internet. You will enjoy this newly decorated unit, guranteed!!!!
Sit at your bistro table and enjoy the view of the Dolphins playing in the surf or relax in the chaise lounge while sunbathing and listning to the seabirds. A book selection is available for reading.
During high season (March to October) two beach chairs/umbrella ARE set up for you each morning of your vacation. Be sure to tip the attendant for his great service.
Maravilla Resort Condominums, 2606 Scenic Gulf Drive , Destin, Florida is the most popular family oriented complex in Destin. We are a 33 acre, gated resort with expansive interior parking, portico for loading & unloading, tennis courts, basketball half/court, two pools, spa, fitness room, club house available to rent for family gatherings or weddings on the beach, bike racks, and shuffleboard. Why the Owner Chose Maravilla
We have owned a second home in Destin since 1988. I was driving past Maravilla when it was being constructed, 1995, stopped at the sales office and bought a condo . I have served on the board at Maravilla and have promoted it as the best "family-oriented complex" in Destin, and for it to be truly family oriented, the pets needed to be welcomed also. Hence, here we are!! Our success has been built on trust and a desire to provide each and every vacationer a wonderful place to call their home away from home.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our 3rd floor corner unit, Maravilla 2301, is a beautiful unit, nautical decor, very nicely furnished and upgraded each year, 90% of our vacationers are repeat visitors, and we like to provide them with something a little different from their last visit. Oh, also we have another awesome GulfFront View condo, located in bldg. #2, the GulfFront building. It is a ground floor condo.

Jim and Sherry McDaniel were the pioneers of Pet Friendly Condos in Destin in 1992. We have grown a lot since our first pet friendly endeavor, and have introduced many, many friends and acquaintances to the wonderful aspects of renting to families who travel with their pets. We were also one of VRBO's first customers in the Destin area, back when we could actually talk with David and Lynn (the former owners of VRBO). Jim is a local Realtor , Re/Max Paradise , and we reside next door to our properties, so as to best serve our tenants needs. Our business was built on trust and friendship. I should note that I am only writing this after getting my 2012 reservation request in!. My family has been renting this particular condiminium for 5+ years. Simply put, this is the best family vacation we have ever had, and part of that "success" is due to this location. You wake up every day to glorious views of a beach that is just footsteps away. For the person that is footing the bill (me in our family), one thing you should consider is that included in this rental are reserved beach chairs right next to the water. By itself that may not seem like much, but with many other units, there are no reserved beach chairs, and the ones you get are $100+ per week and may NOT be next to the water. For the driver in the family (also me) you have direct ingress/egress onto 98 at the back of the property, and everything you need to drive to - Wal-Mart, outlet mall, restaurants are all very close. We absolutely love Maravilla 2301!

My husband and I came down from SC with two teenage children. We all absolutely loved it! We're already looking at dates for next summer. Everything was wonderful and the condo is so beautiful. It very much feels like an actual home and is so neat and cozy. The view from the balcony is beautiful with the clear water. We could actually see schools of fish swimming by while sitting on the balcony. The local restaurants are to die for and everyone that works at them are so friendly. We met the owner of the condo one morning on the beach and he is so polite and easy to work with. I can't wait to come back, not only for the beach and food but for the condo also. We loved it!!!

Thanks again for the great location and cozy decoration of your condo. We loved being able to see the beach and gulf water 24x7, all only a short walk away. We have never seen such emerald water and white sand! We would highly recommend your condo to anyone, especially someone like us, coming to Destin for the first time and with their family dog. We are now DESTINed to return!

We always stay somewhere else and our room was already booked this year. My husband saw the view of the ocean for this one and since we were taking my parents along, thought the balcony would be a perfect place for thier mornings and evenings together, AND IT WAS!! We all loved the unit, very nice and settling to the soul. Thanks so much!! Very Easy to work with!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the back entrance from 98!!!

After arriving and being warmly welcomed by a beautiful view of the coast, we settled in an spent a week of comfort and relaxation as if we were in our own home. The property was clean, well maintained, and everything we needed was available. The location and convenience to shopping and attractions was great.

Loved the area and the condo was great. Very clean and was furnished with some supplies we needed. Close to stores and great resturants. Owners were super nice. View from the balcony was heavenly. Special beach chairs were amazing. They were always in the same spot everyday (across from our balcony) and close to the beach access. Pet friendly condo with plenty of room to walk Luke. The corner unit was close to the elevator and the room was very quite. The elevator was quick to respond. Air worked great and kept the condo very cool. I would recommend a stay at this location.

We were fortunate to spend our Spring Break at Jim and Sherry's beautiful condo at Maravilla Resort in Destin. We had everything we needed for a high quality week at the beach. The view off their balcony is gorgeous. The amenities of the resort were great. The pool at the resort is heated (and heated in this sense is truly heated). It is a great family destination. We enjoyed watching movies on the flat screen TV. Restaurants, Shopping and all types of fun are within a short distance of the resort. The beach was wonderful. They are so blessed to have Matt attending the beach. What a gentleman. We look forward to returning again soon. Our little canine family member, Belle, also gave her approval. Thanks again to Jim and Sherry, Wonderful Hosts!

To date, we have never had a Pet Destroy our property, and Pet Owners are our best guest. We Wecome the Pets and if they wish to bring their masters, it is OK with us, as long as they are reponsible.
