The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The home is mid mountain, so you can walk down a block distance to the lake. There is a kayak rental shop at the lake and restaurants within walking distance. There is a cafe , pizzeria ( one of the best gourmet pizzas I have eaten) , italian restaurant, Subway, High Mountain Sports to buy or rent sports equipment, and other shops. ALL within a walk down the mountain.
On top of the mountain is a community tennis court and basketball court with barbecue and picnic area.

My husband and I love to ski and we could not wait to get our little one on the slopes. It's just my little issue, but the first thing I noticed was how clean and well kept everything was in the home. The house was warm and comfortable with large bedrooms and enough open spaces that we adults could stay up late and have fun without waking up the kids. The house was just minutes from the ski resort so we were able to enjoy breakfast and not have to rush in the morning. The kitchen was large and well stocked. I was able to cook and keep an eye on all the activity in the room. I highly recommend this home. There is so much space that I can't wait to come back with my cousins and their kids too.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Although I'm a nature lover, this experience has enhanced my love for nature. The views from this lodge are breath-taking. The lodge is warm and inviting. All the amenitites of home are making my first stay very comfortable. I enjoyed viewing the lake from the wrap around double-deck. I never considered utilizing a hot tub in the fall, but I must admit, it was pleasureable. I enjoyed napping and sitting infront of the gas fireplace...very cozy. I visited Shallow Falls and really enjoyed the trails, natural landscaping, and the falls. Took some memorable photos. I plan to visit the stables to get some horseback riding in. I'm strongly thinking about visiting again, maybe with the youth from my church or maybe my family; but I'm definitely returning...Wisp Mountains is calling me!!!!!!!!!!

I simply love this home. I visited with my family for a holiday event and we had a great time. The home was warm, nice and love the fireplace. It smelled wonderful as soon as you walk into the door. In fact, we come back every year.

We had a family re-union coming up and needed a spacious rental to accomadate. This place was perfect, plenty of room for our big family. We were very pleased with the updated appliances and really comfortable furniture. There was even a big plasma TV in the family room, the guys loved it. Also enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool table. Great views of the lake, and only walking distance away. Would highly recommend this place to all!

The house was very nice, with a few exceptions. It advertised, by way of a picture, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. However, there was no such bathroom with this feature. That picture was misleading. Also, the big screen TV on the main floor, in the family room, did not work. We asked that it be fixed or replaced during our stay, but nothing was ever done about it. This was a problem for us since we had family with health problems that required staying indoors and limiting their activity. Also, when the AC was on, the basement is very cold and the upstairs was VERY hot. Overall, though, the house was very nice and comfortable. It provided lots of room for families, especially with young children.
