Sandpiper is located in Palm Desert on El Paseo just off Highway 111, the main street through the Desert Resort Cities, and Highway 74, the route through the Santa Rosa Mountains to San Diego and the coast.
The Sandpiper Condominiums are a famous architectural landmark, as their unique low density layout and privacy for all units will not likely be recreated in our time. Architects and students of architecture come from around the world to study the layout which guarantees each unit privacy and views. The gardens and pool areas are extensive and shared with a maximum of 10 units in each "pod" of Condos.
Sandpiper is in the heart of Palm Desert. Within walking distance is the main El Paseo Drive shopping area, the Rodeo Drive of the Desert. There are dozens of top class restaurants nearby, plus even more family friendly restaurants all around.
Right across the street is a Ralph's grocery and across Highway 111 is the largest mall in the desert.
There are perhaps a hundred golf courses within a short drive.
With all this convenience, Sandpiper is secluded behind it's gardens and walls, with all of the privacy you'll need to enjoy your desert holiday.
We bought this unit in February 2005, and have furnished it in a comfortable, modern style to fit the modern character of these units.
The bathrooms were completely remodeled in black ceramic and came out very sexy.
We replaced all the appliances with new stainless steel ones, and this year (2008) we replaced the kitchen cabinets and counters!
There are all new state of the art plasma or LCD displays with surround sound in the living/dining area, LCD flat panels in the master and second bedrooms.
You'll have everything you'll need for a desert get away except your bathing suit. You'll have to bring that yourself.
