The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love sharing information about some of our favorite places & activities in PCBeach that many families do not know about: St. Andrew's State Park has rental boats, kayaks and provides shuttle pontoon rides to the fabulous, pristine Shell Island where dolphin watching is unusually great. Also, GulfWorld Aquarium and Zoo just a few blocks away is very special, family oriented, a great bargain and our grandkids love going there (educational too!). Of course, we love the fabulous Pier Park and everyone has lots of fun every time we visit....just a few steps away. Thank you for visiting our Vrbo site.

I am Kathleen Reese and we reside in Tallahassee, Florida approx 2 hours east of PCBeach. My husband and I work full time and decided to buy a condo at the new, fabulous Calypso Resort, because our family (three daughters/sons by marraige and six grandchildren) has enjoyed the best, most relaxing vactions AT THE BEAUTIFUL beaches of Panama City! Buying a condo at Calypso was our first realestate investment and We have been blessed by having positive, special relationships with families who have visited. This picture was taken at the renown Front Porch restaurant a few steps away at Pier Park, right next door to Margaritaville.

We rented this condo for a "girls get a way" week and loved everything about it! It was very spacious and the decor was beautiful yet very comfortable and had a nice "homey" feel to it. Couldn't believe the full kitchen with every single thing we needed. The extra bed in the guest room was perfect for our group, and the balcony had extra comfy lounge chairs and rockers. Everything was perfect! We were just a half a block from Pier Park centre and never had to get in our car. The pool, beach, shopping and dining were just ideal. The owner was helpful and accomodating and I highly recommend it for groups or families.

We have stayed in this condo three times: two summer weeks and one spring break week, and just loved it! The floor plan is ideal for a family or group and feels very spacious. The condo was decorated beautifully and was very clean. The views were awesome and the second floor locaton is perfect. It had all the features we wanted like internet, beach chair service, DVD collection and really comfortable patio furniture! This unit is on western end of the West Tower at Calypso, so you are closer to Pier and can take just a few steps down to the first floor without waiting for elevators! It is great to be able to walk to Pier Park and not worry about getting in our cars! The owners are nice to work with and we will definitely keep coming back again and again.

This condo at Calypso REsort had everything we could want. Our whole family loved it and we hope to come back in the Spring. The furnishings and decor were even nicer than the pictures appeared as it was upscale yet very comfortable! The extra bed in the second bedroom made a big difference. Everything was very clean and we loved the bamboo wood floors. We enjoyed the rocking chairs and lounge chairs on the balcony,,,,and saw spectacular sunsets! The location is awesome as you can actually talk to and watch family memers in the pool below, but have a great view that is "above it all". My husband and I enjoyed being in the beatiful master suite with the Gulf view...and it is located "down the hall" from other bedrooms so we had a nice "getaway". We absolutely loved walking to Pier Park and Calypso Restaurant and hardly go in our car all week! The owner was very helpful and professional. We recommend visiting Gulf World Aquarium and Zoo..it exceeded our expectations and was very special. We definitely recommend this condo!

We stayed at this unit of the Calypso from July 24th through August 1st, 2010. The pictures accurately discribe this unit. It is nice, clean condo in a great location. 2nd floor unit has easy access to all areas. We made our plans approx. a month in advance for our trip. I spoke with the owner numerous times on the phone and via email prior to our departure. Every email and or correspondance that I had with the owner reflected our check in and check out dates. Everything went as it should until the morning of July 31st. We were watching our son play in the World Series tournament and I received a call from the owner wanted to know why we had not checked out yet. I told her we weren't suppossed to ck out unitl the next day. She said NO, it's today. You should have been out by 10. I reminded her about our conversations about check out dates and the fact that our son was still playing ball & that was the reason we planned our check out for Aug 1st. She said she remembered our conversation but our paperwork said we were to be out July 31st so I or someone in my party needed to leave the ball field immediately & start packing our stuff to leave because she had someone else coming to stay at her condo. I left & went back to find my paperwork, all of which had a ck out date of Aug 1st. After I called her back to tell her what my paperwork said, she said "i don't know what to do, Ive never had this happen before. Then she went back to saying that we had to get out or she would have us throw out by security!! My husband told her that was illegal. She couldn't "throw" us out if our rental agreement stated Aug 1st as our ck out. She then said "you can stay", but I will charge u for another night". My husband said, that is still illegal and she hung up on him. We called security and talked to them and they advised us to stay as per our rental aggrement. We didn't hear from the owner again. After returning home we discovered that the owner had charged our CC an additional $190. to our card. We called her to ask her why & she wouldn't take our calls. I emailed her & asked what the charges were & she replied, "This was part of the amount that I had to pay to put the other family in another room because they couldn't stay at our condo" SHE double booked her condo and I had to pay for that? I don't think so. Renter make sure you have all info in writing before staying here. That however doesn't ensure that you won't still endure the headache that we did.

We have hosted over 100 families during the four years we owned this conod, and this is the only negative review we have received. Please be assured that the information in this review does not fully or accurately represent the situation that occurred. We transact and execute our Rental Agreements via email and we will see that alterations or confusion will not occur in the future. We appreciate the many wonderful families we have had the honor of having. We are thankful for these many awesome familes. Thank You

This is absolutely the best, we stayed there for bike week 2008. We had a wonderful time and the condo was just gorgeous. We didn't want to leave! We will absolutely being coming back next year and will stay in this condo. The owner's were very polite and made sure that we had everything we would need to enjoy our selfs. This condo is gorgeous and we felt right at home. Thanks so much for making are vacation so wonderful!

WE STAYED AT THIS CONDO DURING SB 07. THERE WERE 2 MOMS AND 3 TEENAGE GIRLS. WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, GREAT VIEW, LOCATION AND THE UNIT WAS AWESOME. THE MASTER BED WAS ONE OF THE MOST COMFORTABLE EVER. THIS LOCATION WILL GET EVEN BETTER ONCE THE PIER PARK RETAIL CENTER IS COMPLETE. THE OWNERS WERE GREAT TO DEAL WITH AND WE WOULD DEFINATELY GO BACK.
