"Merlot at Vineyard Creek", this hand hewn Lincoln log home (Built in 2005) sits in the midst of beautiful woods. Property borders on the Nantahala National Forest. It is so peaceful and quiet you can actually hear nature. Behind Merlot is a vineyard that is in the fifth year of growth.

A short distance the opposite direction you can sit by the rushing creek and watch the birds, fish, or just get lost in the sound of the rushing water. You can view the pond from the hot tub on the covered back porch.

Inside you will find wood and tile floors, tongue and groove ceilings, a large stone wood burning fireplace, a king-size bed in the spacious loft and a beautiful antique double bed suite in the first floor bedroom. This cabin is tastefully furnished.

The bath has a Jacuzzi tub and a shower. A fully equipped kitchen and a gas grill on the covered porch will make it easy to prepare meals for your family and friends. Buy your groceries before you drive to the cabin because you will not want to leave once you get there.

Central heat and air will keep you comfortable all year around. Satellite TV in the living room and loft will meet your need to connect with the outside world plus a radio, CD and DVD player and telephone. All you need is provided, just bring your personal items and food.
