This is a low toxin, high comfort space, not your typical Sedona vacation rental--a timeshare/condo on the highway, a rustic made-over garage, or a home that smells like too many wet dogs slept on the rugs. We only rent a few times a year when our family isn't using or improving the place. You never deal with a third party. Key pick up is easy, no extra stops or paperwork.
Located in a highly desirable neighborhood with off-street parking, you'll be in easy walking distance--two to three blocks to hiking trails, shopping, art galleries, dining, and movie theaters. Nestled in a juniper grove, you can watch wildlife right out the window, including beautiful hummingbirds and the darling Gamble quail, often with their miniature family members.
Easy on you and the environment without compromising your gracious standard of living, it's easy to "Go Green" and enjoy a healthy home at the casita. Recently remodeled with renewable materials and energy efficient appliances. Solar powered, all natural cleaning products, furnishings & building materials. No harmful out-gassing in this low-toxin environment. The water is filtered, even in the shower. Beds have allergen covers and are made of carcinogen free materials (no chemical flame retardant, sizing, treated wood or harsh glues). Organic cotton and bamboo linens mean your skin is pampered with plush and toxin-free fibers.

We're a family of cultural creatives with a keen interest in healthy living. Several family members have allergies and chemical sensitivities which help us stay focused on the air quality, cleanliness, and natural materials, finishes and furnishings in our homes. The artists, writers, and educators in our family love to hike Sedona with our many beloved children--both brain and biological;-)
Why the Owner Chose Sedona
Dana got Red Rock Fever. After visiting Sedona several times a year and enjoying the casitas at Enchantment, we realized what we were spending the spa could pay a mortgage! Now we enjoy Enchantment-style lodging at vacation rental prices (about $300 cheaper a night in season).
After looking at property for about six years we decided quiet and privacy beat out road noise and dust. This location is close enough to walk to all the best amenities, but nestled far enough away from the highway to be peaceful.

We take our efforts to live lightly on the planet seriously and yet we have a love of whimsy. This combination makes the casita a nurturing environment. The art and handmade furniture give you an adventure to explore indoors. And the peace and quiet of the location is deeply healing for many.

The king size bed was very comfortable, plenty of towels and linens were available and the furnishings were charming . The owner was always available and helpful. We would not hesitate to return in the future or to recommend it to anyone else! Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway, and Sightseeing
