Camden apartment description

The apartment is in the heart of London, the Underground (metro) station is 2 minutes walk and has excellent connections. The trendy high street, its Market, celebrity studded bars & restaurants. The apartment itself is on a quiet street, and you won't be kept awake by noise from the bars. It has a very large, spacious living room with oak floors, designer leather sofa. The living room also has a balcony overlooking the garden that belongs to the property. There is a fully equipped luxury fitted Pogenpohl kitchen with granite worktops, a bathroom and WC, a shower room, and a separate WC, 2 large double bedrooms (one has queen bed, and a fold-up single, other a double and fold-up single), a smaller bedroom has a double bed.
There is a garden for you to enjoy any nice weather London might be blessed with during your stay.
There is complimentary wireless internet access, Cable TV (200+ channels including movies/sports) and DVD player.
Comfortable sheets and towels are provided.


Convenience: The apartment is very central, and you are minutes away from Camden Market, London Zoo, Regents Park and Primrose Hill. The Underground (metro) gets you to the West End of London in 10 minutes, and there are no less than 11 bus routes serving the area, most running all night.

There are 2 large supermarkets within 5 minutes walk, as well as an organic supermarket, and numerous convenience stores open 24 hours a day.

The apartment is in a very 'happening' part of London, and it has many bars and restaurants, a lot of of which have live music. There is a six screen cinema very close by. You really are spoilt for choice for entertainment on your doorstep.

                                    a place I recommend for an unforgetable London experience. quiet though very central. owners are very helpful. many things to see in a walking distance, or using the underground. we had a great time.

                                    A great place to stay ,ideally located for Central London.Minuites from the Northern Line Underground and all the buss of Camden,but so quite and peaceful when in the flat. It had been newly painted and was clean.The only point I would like to suggest is that the garden could be tidier. We were met at the flat by Chris who showed us how everything worked.Denmir was available if anything was required. I would definatly recomend this flat to friends and family.I would stay again.

                                    I booked this apartment and was not disappointed - delivered on all counts. Location excellent, only 2 mins walk and your in the main Camden Hight Street and Lock. Very easy to get around with tubes, or buses or trains. Close to supermarket to pick up those essential supplies too. Demir was very welcoming and so helpful. There was 6 of us staying in the apartment and plenty of room for us all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone

                                    We are five ladies staying in the area for five nights whilst doing a course nearby. The house was perfect for us - so close to camden market and the high st shops and restaurants, but quiet every night but saturday. Owners extremely helpful and friendly. The house could do with a little TLC in places but generally very well appointed. We would certainly stay again if we come back to camden and have recommended it already to friends. Everywhere easily accessible by tube or on foot - you don't need a car.

                                    Our family group enjoyed staying at this apartment. The location was central to bus, tube, local markets, supermarkets and pubs. The street was nice and quiet. There was plenty of space for a family group and the facilities were great. Some more attention to detail would enhance the property. For example, cleanliness of oven, broken cups in cupboard. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property and would recommend to a family or group of pelople needing some space.

                                    The location was fantastic, everything you could want within walking distance!! Grocery store, restaurants, pubs, shopping, fast food, tube station, etc. The flat was clean, lots of room, secure, free wifi, full kitchen with nice touches like earl grey tea, did I mention free wifi.... Our visit was a family of 7 people (all ages), had plenty of room and the combo washer/dryer was so nice. We were met by Chris and given a rundown of the area (bonus). The area is cool and while the people that arrive in the area at night are a little unusual looking, we felt completely safe the whole time. If you are from the U.S., the little food stand caddy-corner has great cheeseburgers and fries for a good value. If you go to the Camden market, the vendors will bargain with you, do not buy for the first price offered...

                                    Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

                                    location perfect... 2 mins walk from heart of Camden, close to supermarket, tube and buses as well. U won't have to cook once with all the food so close by in Camden! Flat is lacking many basics however like spare toilet rolls, gargabe bags, soap and spare linen. 2nd shower has no curtain & faces the street!! 1 bedroom faces street & needs new blinds, with light at 4.30am in summer we had some early mornings for the people in that room. It's still well worth it for the location...

                                    Why choose another apartment than this for your London vacation? No reason, this apartment has it all! A perfect location, just a two minute walk from Camden Lock with all its bars, restaurants, nightclubs and market stalls, but surprisingly quiet. Cab fare to Oxford Street/ London Eye/ Leicester Square less than £10, Regents Park/ London Zoo is just a 10 minute stroll away. The apartment could do with a little TLC, but for Central London standards it was both spacious and luxurious. Houseowner is VERY helpful. We (2 adults, three children) had a fantastic stay, and hope to be back next summer!

                                    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

                                  Why the Owner Chose Camden:
                                  I bought the property in 1997 and lived there myself until 2007. I was at the time of purchase thinking of living in a different part of London, but I came across this apartment almost by accident, visited it and fell in love at first sight! In 2007 my upstairs neighbours moved out, so we bought the upper apartment, and we have since rented this one out.
