Why the Owner Chose Calypso Resort Towers
Being an licensed Realtor in Florida and Georgia, I believe in Location, Location, Location. That's why I picked Calypso, and the 8th Floor. Calypso is located right by Pier Park, the new Pier, and a isolated beach area where noone can build. The ocean is usually aqua blue, and the sand is white - and perfect for walking. I love Panama City Beach because of the variety of activities available for families. You can't go wrong at Calypso, and I would give my condo 5 Stars!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Two very long ocean front pools - one is heated, the other cool. Their is a Tiki Bar by the pools for a Cool Drink, and a wonderful Sandwich shop that will deliver to your chair at the beach. The beach offers Parasailing, Banana Boating, Swimming of Course, and Chairs and Unbrellas. The Restaurants and Shopping at Pier Park are the Best, and just a short walk away. Pier Park also has 28 Theatres in case you have a rainy day!

Hello - I'm Terri Braswell, owner of 3 condos in Panama City Beach. Calypso is my favorite - 8th Floor, Convenient, and Beautiful Full Ocean View. This condo was just completed in 2006, and I have rented our personal condos since 1995. I am a very picky with my condos - they have to be clean and perfect, so when you walk in you say "WOW!" It's your vacation, and I want it to be special for you. My renters come back again and again, and I hope you will, too!

What a warm setting, inviting you to spend lazy beach days gazing at the incredible beach, or enjoying the lap pools. ALL amenities are provided, dishes, towels, linens, (I'm guessing at LEAST 400 TC sheets!) and some funky/artsy decorations - just a comfortable place to stay! The owners have really made this into something special, and we were fortunate to be the very first guests there. A multi-level parking garage with an elevated, covered walkway across the street is a wonderful way to escape the beach traffic, and keep your car out of the sun! Groundskeeping was great, and the place shows great promise. On the west end of the beach, slightly quieter than the east, and close to a killer doughnut shop called "Thomas'" - go get a chocolate cake doughnut! There's a grocery store not far, and the new Pier Park being built just behind this resort.... and there'll be a Super Target soon as well.
Owner response:Thanks Debbie! I will try the doughnut shop - We order take out at the Calypso Cafe a lot - Excellent Coconut Shrimp!!! Funky/Artsy is a good way to descride the decor - I described it as a Gilligan Island look, but we did enhance that a bit! I just kept telling the furniture people that I did not want a West Indes look, and I went from there... Hope you will rent again soon! PS - There is more to come in the decorating department!
