Very private wooded setting with lots of wildlife to enjoy, yet close to all amenities. Outdoor fire pit with fire wood. Central Air-Conditioning and heat with gas log fire place and a gas heater in basement. Four television sets all with satellite including a 50-inch TV in the living room and three DVD players.
Fully equipped kitchen. Laundry room. All bed linens and towels are provided. GAME ROOM IN BASEMENT WITH 8' POOL TABLE, FOOSBALL TABLE, DARTBOARD AND SLOT MACHINES.

We enjoyed our stay at Timber Top. The views were beautiful. We went the third week of October and on the first night we had snow flurries. My grandchildren were delighted since they had never seen snow before. It is close enough to go on day trips all around. The road up to the cabin is definitely steep and hairpin turns. Our only complaints were that although it says you have internet connections there, we couldn't get connected. One time we got online and the rest of the time we couldn't. Since we needed to check on work details, that was a definite downside. The upstairs is a loft...no door on for that bedroom. So people being up in living room or kitchen disturb those trying to sleep upstairs. That might or might not be a problem for some. Over all,we enjoyed our week at Timber Top very much.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Thank you to the Badia family for your hospitality in letting our families visit your beautiful home. The view was amazing and the kids had plenty of room to run around inside and out! The hiking path was pretty spectacular and the kids loved the "pool" on the porch. (At 2 and 5, it was a pool for them) There was plenty of room for the two families and it was close to many parks and local attractions! Thank you also for being so flexible with us. First time travelling with 5 kids and we didnt know what to expect, but having the cabin to retreat to every night made it very easy for the kids to enjoy the trip. The morning and evening views were amazing and I will send the shots once I get back on my home computer.

Me, my sister, and our 6 kids had a wonderful time over the memorial weekend. The kids were never bored. The house was more than amazing!Thanks for giving us a place to make new memories. The kids will always have that one of their Aunt getting up that mountain in the Expedition. I can laugh about it now! We hope to visit again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We wanted to let you know what a great week we had at TimberTop. It is such a comfortable, homey cabin. We had family from age 3 to 66 that had a wonderful time--there is something for everyone to enjoy! And, what a great location...it has that "away from it all" feel, but you are close to so many activities! Thanks again for letting us enjoy our Thanksgiving holiday at TimberTop. (It even snowed a bit. A huge bonus for Floridians!!)

Thank you so much for making your rental property available to us. Your place is very spacious and worked out really well for the 4 of us. The game room was perfect after being out during the days and needing to wind down. Thank you for providing everything we needed for our 5 day stay in July. We had a wonderful time. Loved the cabin. It is very spacious, cozy, and not to mention beautifully decorated. As soon as I stepped into the cabin I felt like I was at home. Very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere all around. Can't wait to visit again!

We had an absolute blast. The house was nothing short of spectacular. We spent most of our time on the back deck. The views are incredible. We had 6 of us in the house for the long weekend and had plenty of room. The house was full of character. We grilled out in the evening and had dinner on the front patio next to the firepit. We used the hot-tub, the pool table, the dart board, and spent a lot of time in the rocking chairs on the back deck. The only thing we didn't use was the sattelite TV. This was a surprise for my girlfriend's 29th b'day and it was perfect. Thanks very much and we look forward to visiting again soon. Jay McGirt
