The front of the cottage sits the beach with Lake Ontario rolling in the waves. Plenty of body surfing and swimming. The back of this wonderful cottage sits on Sodus Bay with two sandy beaches palm trees and a jacuzzi.The water is calm and great for swimming and fishing, water-skiing, and all kinds of water sports.
This cottage has a 60 foot dock and comes with a 14 foot aluminum boat with a four stroke 10 HP outboard motor. Also, available is a 22 foot Catalina Sailboat complimentary for your enjoyment. Pontoon boats ranging from 16 feet to 24 feet are available for rent at half price from Leroy Island Boat Rentals.
Free Seaplane rides. Let us take you up to see the Bald Eagles nesting down the beach. Bring your camera for some fantastic pictures.
All our cottages are fully stocked. The kitchen has it all the best pots and pans. Blenders,mixers,food processor and more. There is a wine cellar with great California wine. We stock a great selection of California wines in red and white. All complimentary! When you arrive enjoy some fresh crackers and a block of the local extra sharp cheese made just down the road at "Heluva Good Cheese" Comp.

We were very pleased with the Lure. The owners were great and very helpful. The beds were comfortable. the cottage is clean. The enclosed porch was perfect for eating and game playing. the weather was perfect all week. Its a great place to take your family . There is so much to do. Yes we would go back. wonderfull views

The cottage was very nice and the location is really lovely. There is a porch to sit on and enjoy the water view. Lots of little rocks on the beach to collect, lots of movies for nighttime, great swimming and fishing. It rained for 2 days, and that is what cut our enjoyment a little. All activities are for outside...so we really appreciated the screened in porch!

We just returned from staying at "The Lure" for a week, and it was terrific!! On the bay side there are 2 sandy beaches - one that is totally private and on the lake side we were easily able to have campfires on the beach and truly look at the most amazing sunsets and stars! Scott, Martha and their son were the very best hosts, making sure anything we needed was already available in our sweet and very clean cottage. They also were happily available to meet any wish we had - even taking my husband up in Scotts kitfox seaplane! The Lure does have a small deck that overlooks Lake Ontario - where we could have 6 people comfortably, along with the lovely screened in porch on the bay side. We we a bit concerned before we went about getting all our things over to the cottage in a small boat - but there was nothing to worry about - this wonderful family met us our first day with a large pontoon boat and delivered all our items to the cottage, and then also took all our luggage back on the last day. One guest who visited us was unable to get into our small boat (bad knees) and they even ferried him back and forth. We have already booked for next year!! Words cannot express how great this place is.

Our family had a delightful week stay at the lure cottage. The setting was beautiful, the sunsets spectacular. It was relaxing and fun for all. Scott & Martha and their family were excellent hosts. It was apparent that they love where they live and enjoyed sharing Cresent Beach with their guests. We hope to go back next year.
