The villa where the studios / apartments are located has been built in Andalusian style. Located in Cerrado de Calderon, one of the best residential areas of Malaga city, at the east of Malaga city with excellent views to the mountains and the sea. It is a quiet area surrounded by pine trees. There are parking places just outside, which is very complicated and expensive in downtown Malaga. 3.5 km from the city historic center. Only 300 m. away there is an area with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks, pharmacy and shops. 900 m. away is the beach, Los Baños del Carmen, and 1,300 m. away is the seafront at PEDREGALEJO, area of restaurants and bars where you can sit down on a terrace to enjoy the famous Malaga fried fish and other Mediterranean dishes such as paella, with great views to the bay of Malaga city. Central heating, wifi internet line 24 hours a day. From September to June can be rented for long term.


Hints and Tips: Malaga with its excellent cuisine is considered one of the best gastronomic regions of Spain, in typical Mediterranean and international cuisine. In climate outdoor seating in any terrace is a delight. Located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, connected by train, road and air, is one of the best cities to visit Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Marbella, Ronda, Nerja, and many white villages of the province. The birthplace of Picasso, Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, Cathedral. Tapas Bar. Although there is bus stop just 50 meters, if you prefer to rent a car we can help with business confidence at very competitive prices.

                                                I stayed in one of Juan's apartments with my parents and although it was a tight fit with the three of us it had all the facilities we needed. This high end suburb of Malaga is nice and quiet and has lovely views of the sea and the mountains. Cerrado de Calderon has nice local places to eat and you feel you are in the real Spain rather than an foreign enclave. Also the beach of Pedregalejo is only a 10 minute walk and has fabulous and well priced bars and restaurants. Juan and his wife are friendly and welcoming along with their little yorkshire terrier. The city can be accessed easily by bus so you can enjoy the sights and attractions on offer.

                                                hello everyone :)! i´m from germany, so please excuse my english ;)! my boyfriend and i stayed in a little studio in malaga and we spended here a very nice time. STUDIO: the studio was very clean and really nice arranged, it was small, but there were everything we needed for one week. the balcony was an nice place to eat outside. OWNER: the owner, juan gonzalez, was very nice, he helped us, talked with us and was very gently AMBIENCE: the studio was very nearly to a little beach (maybe 1 kilometre) and there was a supermarket (about 400 meters to walk). we came up to the city by taxi, but there was also a bus (direct in front of our studio). the city is very nice and there are many restaurants and tapas bars :)! the quarter, where the studio is, is very nobel and chic, so there are many nice houses and the ambience is really nice! so we were very happy with it and recommend it to everyone who wants to spend time in malaga :)!

                                                I will give the good input first - great location and large room! Juan helped in getting us a car and that was most appreciated as it was delivered and picked up from our room! When we first checked in thought we may be too far from everything but found it was just far enough away, but close enough to anything you could want to do/see. It was a great walk back up to the room, all up hill, and passed several stores, ice cream shop and restaurants. And there is a bus station almost right out the door, so you could always hop onto bus 33 and miss the walk, but that was half the enjoyment for me. Due to no air conditioning and being right on the street side and having to leave the windows open we didn't sleep much due to buses, cars and metal sewer cover constantly clanking there was continual noise all nite. And one more incident - but hear that is nothing to be surprised about in a warm climate and my in-laws and hubby gave me a hard time about even thinking it was an issue, but we had visitors of cockroaches for the first couple days of the stay. They were taken care of, but since I am not used to sharing my room, they were a bit of a surprise to me and hope they are long gone now. The only other thing I would mention is supplies - we rented three rooms, each room had a different selection of the amenities from toliet paper to dishwashing soap to dishes to coffee maker. Suggestion: Each room should have a list what stations are available on TV, the local store location, where to catch a bus, a copy of the bus route, and location of cleaning supplies to keep the room tidy since there is no daily cleaning. I would not go back to that location due to I have already seen the local area and there are other places to see in Spain, but would say it is a good place to stay, just be picky on which room you get if you are a light sleeper or need air conditioning. Be sure to know which room you are getting when you book! Would have liked to have been shown options upon checking in as the site does not really show good views of each room.

                                                Owner response: This family told me they came from USA, where they went in the past as immigrant from Mexico, so this is probably the reason that they didn't feel well without air conditioning and without daily cleaning services. In the ad I don't include air conditioning, nor cleaning service, that is why this apartment is cheaper than other with this services. About not coming again they may be sure it is not going to happen.

                                                De retour de Malaga, avec le coeur gros d'avoir quitté cette ville magnifique et sa population. Nous avons eu l'appartement G-3, l'appartement était propre, il est situé dans cerrado de calderon, ou on trouve en bas de la rue à 5minutes a pied un hypermarché, une pharmacie, des bars, tabac etc.. pour la plage on peux y allé à pieds c'est à 10 bonnes minutes, il faut descendre une rue (colline) donc il faut la remonter aussi! ça fait les mollets. sinon il y a un arret de bus a même pas 2minutes de l'appart c'est la ligne 33 qui amène a la mer et plus loin au centre ville. L'appart est bien équipé (ventilateur + ventilateur de plafond, ce qui n'est pas negligeable avec la chaleur) pour les ustensils de cuisine, il y a tout, sauf une poêle. Sinon le propriétaire, Juan, est très sympathique! Très bon séjour, on en garde un bon souvenir

                                                Habiamos visto tantas fotos de otros sitios y desde que vivos este lugar, nos enamoramos inmediatamente. Y no nos equivocamos. La tranquilidad del lugar y nos encanto de estar cerca de la playa. Salir a caminar y hacer ejercicios por las mananas. Un sueno. Mi esposo y yo nos sentimos como en luna de miel. Nos sentiamos como en nuestra casa. El proprietario y su familia son muy acogedores. Los cafes, la panaderia, el supermercado todo rico y fresco. Del autobus que nos lleva al centro se puede ver los mas bellos paisajes de Malaga. Yo les recomendaria esta casa de vacaciones a todo el mundo.

                                                Well situated apartment, very basic but clean. Owner was very friendly. Definitely only suitable for 4 people maximum. I personally prefer somewhere more up to date and better equipped, so would not return and would not recommend to family or friends.

                                                Mon ami et moi avons passé un excellent séjour grâce à l'accueil et l'appartement proposé de Juan, qui de plus, est une personne très accueillante et disponible. L'appartement est bien agencé, propre, et fonctionnel(on a eu le droit au grille pain tout neuf!) Nous avions, en plus de tout ça, droit à un endroit très calme et une vue splendide sur le véritable paysage du sud de l'Espagne. A proximité, nous avons trouvé des bars, restaurants, superette et boulangerie où les commerçants étaient tous très chaleureux. La plage n'est pas loin non plus et un bus(au sortir de la résidence) vous y dépose, pr les plus pressés... En résumé, un lieu que je recommande vivement!

                                                I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this apartment. Depends on what apartment you are looking for. This is a nice quiet apartment on the outskirts of the city. If you don't hire a car, be prepared for some serious walking, but there are some good transport links in the area. This apartment is located on a hill, it has nice quiet surroundings and highly residential. The supermarket and other local shops are about 5 minutes away, so it is relatively easy to stock up on your toiletries and any last minute needs. Our original plan was for 5 to stay at the apartment, but really at most I say it was for 4. There are two sofa beds in the living room and one bedroom with two single beds. The owner is friendly, and speaks good conversational English and his prices are reasonable.

                                                Recommended for: Families with young children.

                                                The flat has a great location, near both the beach and the city centre; so it makes it an ideal base for a holiday in Malaga. Local supermarket and cafes/bakeries are really convenient. The flat itself has a nice kitchen which is big, light and airy making it possible to stay in for a meal as well as go out to a restaurant. All in all, this is an ideal spot for holiday makers who wish to enjoy a taste of real authentic Spain.
