This house was perfect for our group of seven adults and two children. It is tucked away in a lovely area, and the whole atmosphere provides for a peaceful getaway. As soon as we walked in the door we felt at home...it was so clean, so well-kept, and so comfortable - we could not have asked for anything more! We all agreed that we would definitely rent this house again...and we are ready to recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Vermont getaway. And...one last thing...the owner was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish!
Owner response:Jenna, Thank you for the wonderful review. Jeff

My ski team has rented this house twice now during our races at Dartmouth Ski Way. We plan on renting again for next season. The owner is delightful to work with and very available. The house is comfortable, private, and truly lovely. I would recommend renting this home for anyone from a family with children to a ski team.

We rented this house for a weekend while we attended the homecoming activities at Dartmouth College, It was a perfect place for our family which includes: two daugters their hubands and litte children.Lots of space for eveyone down stairs with two living open spaces. The kitchen was well equiped with nice new applicances. A lovely deck with impressive grill and siting. All the beds were comfotable, the house was very clean and uncluttered. You could tell than this house has had good and fun memories and we left one of our own. We hope to return another time.

My wife, 2 daughters, mother in law, son in law, and boyfriend stayed at this wonderful house and had a great stay. The house is very comfortable for all of us who stayed. We enjoyed gathering around the large tables both inside and out. We enjoyed the tranquil view and sounds of nature from the large back deck while enjoying the fire. We attended our youngest daughter's graduation from Dartmouth and enjoyed the convenience of the short drive. We all felt the listing was accurately portrayed, clean, and the owner was very helpful to us. He even called to check on us while we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and regretted having to leave and come home to our hot, hot South Carolina home. We would highly recommend this house to anyone considering a visit to the area.

From the minute you walk through the door you feel welcomed. There are many inviting couches and overstuffed chairs that make you want to sit and visit with your family and friends. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and nicely decorated throughout. Wood burning stove throws lots of heat and we needed the fans in the bedrooms to cool us down! Lots of linens and extra blankets The washer and dryer were so helpful when we got caught in the rain watching a Dartmouth Football game. Owners are extremely nice and quick to respond to any needs. We would love to rent this home again. Wonderful location.

This was a great house and a prime location for us, close to Simon Pearce and just a couple of miles from the Gorge. We had a lovely stay and the house was more than adequate for our group. The owner was very nice and easy to work with.

Outstanding! We were here for a week for our son's wedding. Everything was as noted in the description. The owner called a couple of times just to see if there were any problems. We will stay here again when we are in this area and since our son married a woman from this area we will be back! We had a large group drop in on Friday night of the wedding week and everyone raved about the house. We had room for all that showed up. Check the cupboards before you go to the store, it was well stocked with things you need. Thanks for the great time.

Great spot, lots of room in the most convenient location with owners who are endlessly thoughtful and accommodating. We return again and again, and have referred friends who were also delighted.

I traveled with a group of people heading to a competition in Hanover, NH. This house was more than adequate for a big group of adults. We felt welcome, and Jeff was ready to support me and my group with anything regarding the house. It felt like staying at a friend's vacation house. We found everything we could need there. Getting access, instructions, paperwork, and returning deposit was all as clear, easy and fast as reasonably possible. I would recommend this rental to anyone, and I am looking forward to bringing my group back next year.
