This six year old four bedroom, three bath home in popular and beautiful Pirate's Cove is situated directly on the Roanoke Sound between Nags Head and Manteo, on the Outer Banks about 10 miles north of Oregon Inlet. Offering incredible sound views, this home is located just a short five minute drive to the beautiful beaches of Nags Head and minutes from the quaint town of Manteo - get the best of both worlds!
The Pirates Cove community is a true treasure, nestled among beautiful wildlife scenery, and includes a world class on-site marina with phenomenal off shore fishing excursions. Pirates Cove offers many first class amenities including a huge pool with lounging areas, fitness center, miles of walking boardwalk with breathtaking scenery, tennis courts, play ground, community room with pool table and much more.
Included with this rental home is a 25 foot boat slip in Pirates Cove (Slip #50) for your use during your stay. Note - Boats are not permitted to be tied to the dock at the house. Boats are not permitted under the house. The multi-level residence is beautifully decorated and offers an ideal layout with privacy for all, with each bedroom on a separate level.
The first floor features the foyer and a junior master bedroom with queen bed and private bath with tub. The second floor offers a bedroom with queen-size bed, as well as the living room, dining area surrounded by glass over-looking the sound, kitchen with breakfast bar - all with water views - full laundry room and waterside deck with hot tub and outside eating area - all overlooking the water!
The third level includes a bathroom with full tub, sitting area (great for reading) and bedroom with twin bed and pyramid bunk with full bed on bottom and twin on top.
The fourth floor features the master bedroom only ... enjoy true privacy and absolute luxury with king-size bed, private covered deck with chairs and incredible views of the sound as well as a walk-in closet and spa-like bath with dual sink vanity, whirlpool tub and private room with commode and shower.
Abundant amenities are provided for your convenience and enjoyment. Outside you will appreciate a private hot tub, private 85 foot dock for crabbing and fishing, covered parking for one car plus side by side parking for 2 cars, ( three car max. ) private enclosed beach shower on ground level, lots of outdoor seating. Clean grill with full tank of propane delivered each Saturday, a special feature for our guests.
Inside conveniences include central air, wireless internet access, baby items such as crib, stroller, pack and play, high chair and baby gates, fully stocked kitchen and more. Even beach chairs, 4 bikes, crab traps, fishing rods are provided for enjoyment of the outdoors.
Rise early, get the coffee on. Grab your mug and make sure you're out on the pier with your camera right before the sun rises. You'll be glad you did!

Year Purchased: 2005
As owners of Village Landing #54, we have vacationed in the Outer Banks since the mid 80's and in 2005, a decision was made to purchase our own vacation home and offer this waterfront property to others so they too could enjoy the many fine features of an Outer Banks vacation. We made every attempt to provide guests with the amenities we feel are important when deciding on a vacation house. Our house is well stocked and well maintained. Of course, there are those who complain about their vacation going by too quick. Our response is simple. Come back again! As owners of real estate in several states, we have been in the real estate vacation rental business for 37 years.
Why the Owner Chose Manteo
We selected this location because of the spectacular views! This house has 35 windows not including entrance doors and sliding glass doors to the deck. Most windows offer a view of the water. We wanted a house that would rent very easy in a development that would offer our guests a pool for those non beach days.
