Bill and Marsha's condos are a perfect place to stay if you like to be close to the beach and trendy shops. It's perfect. Our family has stayed in the condo for several summer vacations and we have enjoyed it each time.

This was our second visit to this great property. Centrally located in a fine beach community, we found the condo clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The size was perfect for our extended family of six and the upper deck, recently update, gave us a great place to enjoy the afternoons. We have already booked our week for next year and would highly recommend this property.

We spent two weeks at this vacation rental in San Clemente, including the 4th. of July. It is a marvelous location, very close (easy walk) to the beach/pier and the charming downtown. The photos do accurately reflect the appearance and amenities, the property was clean and well-maintained as well. The owner was very responsive and eager to please. We would and have recommended this property to others, and we have already made our reservation for next summer!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, pet owners, sightseeing.

Thank you, Bill and Marsha, for letting us enjoy your beautiful condo. The location just couldn't be better---so close to the beach and the shopping/restaurants as well. The two wagons provided were such a help in transporting beach chairs (which were also provided) down to the beach. Sunsets on the upstairs balcony were enjoyed----almost as much as the ones at the pier!! I hope to be able to come back. My grandsons loved the bunk beds!! Thanks again for such a nice place!

Thanks Bill and Marsha for allowing the use of your beautiful condo for the 2nd time. The 1st time was in Sept 2007 when our son married a wonderful gal from Costa Mesa. We love the close proximity to the downtown area with all the shops and restaurants and of course the beautiful beach. Some of our favorite restaurants in San Clemente are Fisherman's, El Ranchito, Carbonera Trattoria Italiana and Billy's Meat and Deli. We love the morning strolls on the beach and watching the sunsets on the pier. For a longer walk on the beach, we hiked south to San Clemente State Beach - Very beautiful. We hope to return soon. Both apartments are well stocked and very clean and suited our requirements exactly. Minutes from the beach and main shopping street make it an ideal location to stay. We dropped off the kids at a San Onofre State Beach Surf Camp, each day last week, while the wife and I got an intimate knowledge of the area with your condo's great location. Our family has stayed in one of the Medina condos for several years now and have enjoyed every stay....twice in A and twice in C. The condos are close to the beach and shopping (bring $$$-lol)for a great time. Our family of 9 comfortably stayed in A this summer and had the best time! The rental prices are reasonable considering the prices in the area. And the proximity to local attractions can't be beat (Disneyland, San Diego as well as local events)! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last August. We rented the larger unit and there was plenty of room for our daughters and 3 grandkids. We all had a great week! Bill and Marsha, Thanks for sharing your home with us. We had a great time shopping in the little shops on Del Mar, dinner and happy hour at the Fisherman's on the pier was great. Found a great Mexican restaurant at the top of Victoria and El Camino Real. Family enjoyed the beach and Boogie boarding though not much waves this week for surfing. Great location an close to the beach. We really enjoyed the patio and BBQ quite relaxing. We hope to come back again next year. ps. Thanks for all the little extras.

Bill and Marsha, Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much we enjoyed the use of your house last week. The kids loved the closeness to the beach and enjoyed trying their hands at boogie boarding. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home! we have had a great time and our children have felt right at home. We live in Wyoming and this is the first time our kids have seen the ocean. Needless to say - we have had a great time at the beach. 7/7/07 We've had a FABULOUS stay during our vacation in San Clemente! Thank you ever so much for providing so many things for our use from dishes to Boogie boards! This truly was a "home away from home." We enjoyed walks to the pier, learning to Boogie board, the wonderful 4th of July fireworks off the pier, riding thrilling and insane roller coasters at Knott's Berry Farm, and ultimately just laying around relaxing on the beach! We stayed here in 2005, and as I was browsing vrbo, I remembered what a nice house this was, and what a good time we had. The accomodations were great, the owner very nice, and we hope to visit again! The walk to the beach and downtown are both easy, the farmers market was fun, and the mexican restaurant was really good -can't remember the name . Thanks again.

Bill was very responsive and professional in the selection processWe were a young family of five (3 kids under 3!) with a friend and her teenager. Therefore we were worried about noise and roominess. There was plenty of room and comfort for all. We especially appreciated the short walk to the beach and to the shops. The house was in great condition and was very comfy with not many breakable things which made it alot easier for us with three little ones. It was great having the extra bathrooms especially with a large group. Also the extra beach gear etc came in handy. Lastly having available laundry access in the garage was magic with ALL the youngsters washing we did many times over! Just bring lots of qtrs.

Enjoyed our stay in San Clemente. Apartment was in a good location for Del Mar shops, the beach, and the pier. The Pier 'Happy Hour' was good value for money. We enjoyed watching the surfers. We had busy time with the wedding we were here for, so didn't get to do as much as we'd liked. We've been to San Clemente about 5 times now and this time we found the Carlsbad Outlet Village - excellent shopping trip, Highly Recommended! The Farmer's Market on Sunday morning reminds us of home and the quality of food was good. We had a great time. Thank You! Bath, England

Dear Bill and Marsha, Thank you for the great place to stay. This is our second time here and everything was as good as we remembered! This time we relaxed at the beach a lot! We also did a lot of shopping. Love the shops on Del Mar. We did spend one day at Disneyland, but the beach was the highlight of the trip. the weather was perfect for laying out and Abby loves building sand castles. March 1, 2007It is with fond memories that I write this journal entry regarding our stay at 311 Del Mar Street, Unit A in San Clemente. My husband, boys (eight and ten) and I stayed in the Medina’s beach condo for the month of February, 2007. We had made a GIANT move to England expecting to live there for two to five years. We were back in America after just six weeks, and our home was occupied for the entire month. What a joy and relief it was to return to San Clemente and stay in such a comfortable, well situated, well equipped home.The condo had everything we needed, from a washer and dryer and a garage to store our suitcases, down to a potatoes peeler and a vase for fresh flowers. I had foil, Ziploc bags, laundry detergent and air freshener. It is obvious that they take great care in preparing for each new group of guests to arrive.In closing, I would like to say that I loved the condo mostly because it was easy to stay in. It wasn’t so fancy that I had to worry about the boys breaking things and messing up the carpeting, yet it was clean and comfortable with all that we needed to make it our home for the month. I believe it was incredibly priced as well, and only hope we have the opportunity to enjoy it again in the future. I would highly recommend staying in this spacious condo, so close to the beach and the heart of our lovely community, San Clemente. Bill and Marsha, It's hard to believe it's almost been a week since we were there in San Clemente! We go back to work and school tomorrow so vacation is really over. We enjoyed our time in your place SO MUCH! It was perfect for our family. And the location was so nice too, just a short walk to the library and farmer's market and the shops in one direction and a short walk to the beach in the other. We were blessed with the weather! We found the accommodations very pleasant and clean. We were pleasantly surprised with the comfort and thoughtfulness of the little things such as the magazines, books, DVD player, etc. Normally I don’t read but I found myself drawn to the balcony with my (your) books.The location is awesome, with the beach only a 5-minute walk away. And in the other direction, we found unique, charming boutiques. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I would recommend this home!ps. I don’t sleep well without a TV so I slept on the sofa in the living room and found it just as comfy as the bed.

We had a great week here in San Clemente! We’re just a bunch of beach rats so we went to the beach all day, every day. This house was wonderful – plenty of room and great location. We went out to eat at Shorelanding on El Camino Real. Great food, huge selection and huge portions. We also went to a concert down at the beach, very enjoyable. Overall, it was a great vacation. This place was perfect!

July 11-17, 2004Wow. What a great week! Perfect weather, lots of stuff to do, and what a nice home to stay in. Lowe, Nash, and O’Heinien families enjoyed: playing at beach and getting coffee at Aloha Coffee up the street on Del Mar, great pizza at Pizza Port (good beer too!), breakfast at the Waffle Lady (a breakfast must), Sea World, dinner at Las Brisas in Laguna, breakfast at the pier, and lots of relaxation. A nice reprieve from the sweltering desert heat in Phoenix. Sorry we have to go home! Us 6 adults, 4 toddlers, and 2 babies would all recommend this place.Thanks.

We’ve come to San Clemente nearly every year since Dina was 1 ½ (she’s now 21!), but this is the first time staying in your home. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. We loved it, and the location is terrific – so close to the beach and the shops on Del Mar. We’ve done lot’s of sight seeing over the years (San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, Newport Beach, etc.) but this year we just wanted to relax and enjoy the beach – and Dina’s goal – surf lessons! What we thought was going to be a one-hour lesson turned into four hours!! She loved it and now wants her own board. Too bad Michael and Anne couldn’t be here to share it with us. Miss them. Maybe next year they can come, too, if you’ll have us.

We had a great time this week 6-21-03 to 6-28. We had lots of fun at the beach riding waves, fishing and relaxing. We caught 4 fish at the pier. We ate Happy Hour at the pier, pizza across the street and Friday’s in Laguna Hills. Donut place up the street at Del Mar corner was great.

First and foremost, a million thanks for opening this wonderfully cozy home to us. We hail from the normally beautiful NorCal region (Sunnyvale and Los Altos), but the recent storms have uglified the area & the lovely SoCal beach weather was a more than welcome change.Over the course of our stay, our activities included the Farmer’s Market up the street on Del Mar, beach “hiking” southward to the San Clemente State Beach Park, Fishing off the pier at the beach area off Del Mar (we caught far to many to consume, even for our large group), a trip to the San Diego Zoo (I personally recommend the koalas, elephants, and jaguar), a brief day-trip to Tijuana, Mexico (watch out for the traffic reentering the States – at least a hour), and a visit to the Getty Museum (be sure to check out the gardens).In terms of dining, if you’re looking for good Chinese food, check out Monterey Park and Roland Heights, both northwards past Irvine, about an hour drive.Most of all our recommendation is to chill, relax, enjoy the great weather, the stunning beach, and the friendly people. Grab one of the books from the shelves (my father couldn’t put down Lord of the Rings after recently viewing the movie) and head out to the beach.Enjoy!
