Similar views from the oversized windows in several of the bedrooms offer all day mountain sceenery. Located just four minutes from the ski slopes and hiking trails of Ascutney. In addition you are right inside horse country just 15 minutes from 'the prettiest small town in America', Woodstock filled with wonderful shops, art galleries, museums and gourmet restaurants. The Green Mountain Horse Association is just ten minutes away with over 65 equestrian competitive and educational equine activities each year.
Immediate amenities include a private, natural swim hole at the end of the driveway - perfect for summer swimming complete with pontoon and small sandy beach. This doubles as a large ice rink in the winter time. Right out front you have a small four-hole golf course to keep amused putting the evening away, doubling for a sledding hill in winter time. For more challenging golf The Woodstock Country Club offers a premier golfing experience with 18 holes of scenic, par 70 championship golf. Go fishing on Knapp pond, Canoe or Kayak on Silver Lake, learn to fly fish at The Vermont School of Fly Fishing, visit, tour and learn from several local Maple Syrup farms and shop at local farmers markets for the freshest, healthiest organic produce.
