Located in the heart of Summer's Edge, this classic beach house, "A Beautiful Day" has comfortable porches to enjoy the summer breeze or activities on the street of "seaside Like" cottages leading to the Gulf of Mexico. Summer's Edge is a beachside community with easy access to the beach, two neighborhood pools and a safe environment for families. It is complete with white picket fences, American flags, and frequent visits from the ice cream truck.
This family home has a wide open living room, dining room, and kitchen on the first floor. There is also a built-in bunkroom for the kids on this floor plus a half bath. The laundry room and additional indoor shower is off the back porch for convenience after a day at the beach. The second floor features a spacious master bedroom with large adjoining bathroom. There is an additional bathroom and two additional bedrooms also on this floor, one with queen bed and one with two twin beds. This home comfortably sleeps eight in beds plus two more on the sleeper sofa.

This is a gorgeous place and was perfect for 2 families. The house, furniture and beds were very comfortable and we loved sitting out on the front porch swing. The kitchen was fully equipped, but you will need to supply paper goods and extra soap for the dishes. It was about 3 miles to the Publix and Seaside so...super convenient. The description says it's 4 blocks to the beach & pool, but really it's only 2. It's a very short walk and you don't cross 30-A! A very quite peaceful community. The beach was wonderful and wasn't crowded and the house was perfect. The only disappointment was the bunk bed nook. It was only about 5' long total head to toe and the 14 year old boys were a bit scrunched in there. They ended up using the pull-out sofa instead, but all worked out great. We definitely plan on returning next year! I highly recommend this place! Simply wonderful.

We were able to take our family plus both sets of grandparents and an aunt. We still had plenty of room. The house was close enough to the beach that the walk was short, but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. The house was nicely decorated & spacious.

We had a wonderful week of relaxation and fun at this beautiful beach house. We enjoyed the water park in Destin and the fabulous beach in Seagrove was amazing. This house is perfect for two families. We had plenty of space and it was a joy to cook in the kitchen. We will definitely be back next summer because we ran out of time and did not get to go shopping at all. :) Oh, we loved the porch swing also. Can't wait to return.

We have a very busy family life and to come to the Seaside area is a breath of fresh air. This was our first time to rent in Summer's Edge and we had a super time. The home was beautiful, quiet and a perfect place for our family! The boys had fun playing catch in the street while my husband and I cheered them on swinging on the porch swing. The girls had fun riding bikes around the neighborhood. We grilled out almost every night and went crabbin' at night. We would definately recommend staying at "A Beautiful Day:...we didn't want to leave!

This house is very nice - clean, bright, spacious and well appointed. We typically rent in Seaside but rates were outrageous so we chose SeaGrove. We loved being close, but not in Seaside, it was a much quieter beach and every bit as nice. I will rent this house again.
