The approximate 2 1/2 mile beach is a short skip down the boardwalk and over the dunes to the sandy beach. At low tide, the beach seems to stretch forever.
The island is a sanctuary to several bird and marine life forms. The egrets fly into the island’s lagoons like a descending white cloud, settling in for the evening just above the lurking alligators. Harbor Island is also a sea turtle sanctuary as well as home to dolphins, geckos, horseshoe crabs and many other species.
This comfortable and tastefully furnished, two bedroom, beach front villa has everything you need for the perfect vacation with one of the best ocean views. Our villa is located on the first floor with master bedroom and living room looking out to the ocean and the building's own private pool. In the evening, fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean surf.
This first floor villa has parking just at the entrance, providing convenience and ease of check in. It is incredibly furnished with a new pillow top king-size mattress in the master bedroom, Ethan Allen furniture, flat screen TV, and mirrored door closet. The guest bedroom has a queen-size pillow top mattress, furnished in rattan, and has its own private bathroom with walk-in shower. As a suite, the guest bedroom closes off from the other living areas. There is also a living room sleeper sofa with queen-size mattress.
Harbor Island is a gated community with about 2 1/2 miles of private beach, a clubhouse with Olympic-size swimming pool, fitness center, clay tennis courts, volley ball, basket ball, shuffle board and more. Visit the clubhouse gift shop for a cool drink while looking over the pool and nearby lagoon. Only minutes away, visit Hunting Island State Park. It offers a Nature Conservancy with nature trails and an old historic light house. Nearby Fripp Island has world-class golf courses only minutes away. For the culturally minded, the historic town of Beaufort is only 25 minutes away with entertainment, museums, galleries, shopping, and some of the best restaurants on the southeast coastline. Charleston (1 1/2 hrs.) and Savannah (1 hr.) are both great day trips with incredible history and architecture, and of course shopping for those looking for that special souvenir.

This Condo is really great it is fully equipped with everthing you need and more to make your stay there as comfortable as possible. The owner is great to work with and the property very clean and well maintained. The owner even called to make sure all was well with us.The Travelers Reviews were on point about the Condo and location, My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and hoping to return again in the near future. I would definitely recommend this Condo to my friends and relatives.

We have stayed here seven times in the past six years. There is a reason we keep going back. It is very comfortable with all the amenities and it is only three minutes away from the great beach at Hunting Island State Park. We enjoyed sitiing ouside on the deck overlooking the ocean nearby. The owners are more than accommodating and call to make sure all is right once you gat there. You can't go wrong renting here.
Recommended for:Age 55+.

Had a fabulous time. Last minute trip and Roger was soooo accommodating! He even allowed a pet. Condo is so well kept, spacious and has absolutely everything. Nice open air produce market with fresh seafood just outside the gate. They even have beer and wine. Ate at Boondocks and Johnson Creek Tavern and both were excellent! You cannot go wrong with this place. It exceeds the pictures. Would love to return!!!

The condo is great. It is well equipped and the owner has labeled switches throughout the unit making life a lot easier. Free Wi Fi in the unit is a nice bonus as is the free phone to make local calls. It was clean and attractively decorated. The owner was a nice person and concerned about our welfare. Johnson Creek Tavern is a five minute drive and is considered by the locals to be one of the two best places in the Beaufort area. I would recommend the unit to friends and family

This was an excellent condo in an excellent location, right down to the extremely friendly vacation rental employees and gate security guards. Roger was wonderful to work with, sent us detailed directions and answered all our questions promptly. The condo could not be closer to the beach. It is just a short walk down a gorgeous boardwalk. The beach was not crowded, very serene and natural. You can see both the pool and the ocean from the condo porch. The condo was well stocked and was perfect for 2 couples because it had a king and queen in the 2 rooms rather than 2 twins in the 2nd bedroom - which is very hard to come by, so it was perfect. It was in a very secluded, quiet location but was only 15 minutes away from a grocery store and some very cute and very good downtown restaurants. So it was the perfect getaway for us. I would highly recommend this condo.

There is not enough good things that I can say about our stay in your condo. It was beautiful, well equpped, very clean, well maintained. The view was beautiful, short walk on the boardwalk to the white sandy beaches. It was AWESOME!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming again next year. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay at Harbor Island. Roger is the sweetest, and most helpful person. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo.
