Stayed here May 17-20 Really great view, Loved the Stater's Bros.is so close (went there to pick up carne asada, kabobs, bratwurst & bacon wrapped hot dogs for the BBQ). For the most part we had a very good time with only a SOME cons for me (Probably not for you). 1) When we first arrived,i thought a neighbor was going to call the cops. She came out of her condo like we were trying to break in. 2)Everything closes pretty earlier for example the first night the Mc Donalds closed at 7:00pm 3)Since everything closes early at night you are pretty much in the condo which barley had any cable channels. For us guys that meant NO sports...NO ESPN, NO TNT( Had to leave a 13 & 8 year old alone just to go watch the Lakers Playoff game at the bar which luckly stayed open until the game ended.Had to drive to Rim Bowling the next night to watch the game, couldnt leave the kids home alone again. SO for Two nights just to watch the playoff games it cost about $140 (i have bought 2 tickets to a Playoff LAKER game cheaper then this this year.Even the crappest hotels have basic cable. WOULD OF LOVED TO WATCH THE GAME AT THE CONDO and BBQ again, had a couple of drinks and enjoyed the $609 i paid for. AND not have to spend 6 hours away. 4)No internet and for a bored teenager at night, who i told bring your laptop because the listing said "Wireless Broadband" was very Unhappy. 5)This is my biggest personal con for me only, I have been to Lake Arrowhead just visiting and shopping three times this year.So i know the lake is PRIVATE and a big reason for renting this condo was the hopes of being able to fish this AWESOME lake as a guest of a LAKE ARROWHEAD homeowner which is possible, but didnt want look like idiot and kicked out of the lake while fishing because i would of needed some kind of guest pass to show i could be there fishing.Believe me i asked Michael but he didnt say i couldnt fish , but he didnt say it was alright for me too> Man, if you you like to fish, this is a DREAM lake!!! Just walking by the shops which are along the edge of the lake there are SO MANY HUUGEE Carp and Trout!!! It hurt me to watch a fisherman throw his line out & within two minutes catch a fish. IT HURT so bad, i bought a license, pole, hooks, ect and went fishing at GREEN VALLEY LAKE (WHICH NOT ONE PERSON I SEEN CAUGHT A FISH, AND IT WAS JUST STOCKED) 6)While BBQing a realtor knocked on the there door and wanted to show the condo to some potential buyers. My GF said it was ok but it wasnt cool

This was our second time staying here in one month. We went for my birthday and returned again this past weeekend. It's the perfect location, wtih beautiful views of the lake from both the master bedroom and the living room. We parked our car and never had to get back into it until we left. You get the code to go behind the gates and take a nice hike around the lake. Michael, the owner made everything so easy for us. If your looking for the perfect getaway, look no more. This place is a gem and we will be returning again very soon.

Had an easy time making reservations with owner, Michael. He sent detailed information with direction, codes, etc. It was a weekend to celebrate my and granddaughter's birthdays. First thing my two granddaughters said as they walked in and upstairs was "awesome". The den upstairs was so much fun for them. Four of us grownups had large bedrooms. Plenty of room that that would sleep many people. The place has lots of security so there is a code to get in the gate which made us feel secure and it was well maintained. Quiet too. Walked to the grocery store and down into the village with lots of stores and restaurants. BBQ one night and watched movies with a fire in the fireplace. Very relaxing and fun weekend. Thanks Michael.
Owner response:Thanks guys! Glad you had a great time up at the lake. You're certainly welcome back anytime. Michael (Owner)

Thanks for the great hospitality. Your lake view condo is EXACTLY what we were after for our trip up to the Lake. We usually stay at the Arrowhead Resort right across the street. It was so nice to have all the amenities of home, bbq, fireplace, and the view was much better for less the price! The condo layout was great. Appreciated dealing with you Michael, you made the process very easy and were very easy going. We'll be back up.
Owner response:Thanks! Glad you guys enjoyed yourself up there. We were just up there ourselves, after receiving our first negative feedback in six years we had the place completely cleaned top to bottom, the whole interior freshly painted, new patio furniture, kitchen completely cleaned, and new fixtures, so it's really fresh up there! Thanks for the response. You guys are welcome anytime. - Michael

We chose this condo for our 29 th anniversary. We were given the wrong address and drove around for 1 hour in the dark until we found it. Then ended up in a hotel once we found the condo because it was so dirty we couldn't even put our food in the refridgerator and we were afraid to sleep in the beds before we washed the sheets. There were hardly any pots or pans,no pot holders,no dish towels dirty dishes, dirty microwave, thick dust under beds and couches broken tile all over the balcony, cobwebs all over the ceilings and a huge spider visitor one night. The third day there was no hot water. Things were beginning to be ok and we liked the view so my mother in law wanted to possibly stay again and hire a cleaning crew before she came but then the day before we left the plumbing sprung a leak and we had to leave a day early, that took the cake. The owner was Not accomodating at all. He never offered to give us a refund for one of the nights especially when the plumbing was leaking. Our truck would not fit in the garage and it was very hard to find parking because the security said you can't park in the underground garage or the shopping center overnight. On a good note it is a good location with good views but extremely dirty.
Owner response:In response, we pride ourselves as being very easy going owners and feel lucky to have owned our fantastic place at Lake Arrowhead for 6 years, and enjoy it often ourselves. We deem the bulk of this review excessive and a bit spiteful, but we'll touch on what we can. We have never run across any guests with any sort of issue (as noted by our 4 years of positive reviews), and have dozens of repeat guests. We do ask guests to leave non-perishable food in the fridge as we deem it wasteful otherwise. Upon finding out that this truly irritated these particular guests we had our cleaner over immediately to remove the items and re-clean the fridge. Our cleaner is right there in town, so if something’s not right it’s no big deal to have her over...she's happy to do so. Upon being notified of a plumbing drip we had Mountain Plumbing over to the condo within 20-minutes to repair. We were completely unaware the guests left early and, unfortunately, only realize that fact now. As far as the garage, parking, and directions, there is a full size one car garage, plenty of parking in the upper village next to the condo and there is really no benefit for us in making our place hard to find as it is right in Lake Arrowhead Village. Although, after this review we went up to the lake ourselves in March and had the place cleaned top to bottom, fully repainted the entire place, refinished the floors, stocked the kitchen with cooking supplies, installed new fixtures. All in all it's looking amazing after a nice spring clean. We’d love you to refer to our other reviews regarding cleanliness, location, and ease of use. We’d gladly give any guest that is truly bothered by this review a free night on any stay over three nights. Enjoy, and thanks, Michael – The Owner

We enjoyed a weekend up in Lake Arrowhead and we were so surprised at how close and convenient it was to the village. I know from the pictures it looked close and within walking distance, but we were pleasantly surprised at the ease of getting to the market for both food and movie rentals, shopping and restaurants. The townhouse had a lot of it's own movies to choose from as well as games. The view of the lake was beautiful and at night we enjoyed the lights in the village. The kids had a ball exploring the area! The king bed upstairs in the master bedroom was so comfortable, we slept like rocks! The property owner was helpful and accommodating with our reservations. We will be back to stay in the summer!
Owner response:Thanks guys! Glad you had a great time. Glad to be accommodating.

My wife, my three kids and I have stayed at your beautiful townhouse now for the past four years, over Thanksgiving weekend, and we look forward to it each year! Lake Arrowhead's magnificent beauty is beyond discription, and your townhouse, with it's fantastic view of the Lake, is always a pleasure! Having a full kitchen at our disposal allows us to have most meals "in house", while dining out on occasion. A quick jog across the street brings us to the convenient market, to quickly pick up any incidentals we may need. We look forward to again visiting Lake Arrowhead for Thanksgiving 2011, and staying at your townhouse! It truely is one of the highlights of the year my wife and kids, as well as I, look forward to! Thanks Sheldon Weisel

Hi Michael, We had a great time at the condo. Loved the place. It had everything we needed. Your instructions were easy to follow, getting in and out of the condo was a breeze. We enjoyed the decor of your travels, it created a relaxing vibe. The view was great. We could not of asked for a more convenient spot. We forgot multiple things during our packing and was thrilled that Stater Brothers was literally 50 feet away. "Ice cream?... no problem be right back. Toothpaste?... I'll be two minutes". Loved that! We randomly ran into an acquaintance of my husbands brother who bartends at Papagyous. Papagyous is a must, ask for Michelle, great bartender! We had a great time there and at the resort, which was also 50 feet away! Thank you more making the trip so easy. We will want to use it again!

Great long weekend in Arrowhead. We were there in October and the weather was perfect for hiking and long walks on the lake path. Great location in the village, close to everything. Grabbed picnic makings at the market and food for dinner one night. Kids also liked the video rental machine they had there. Plenty of room at the condo and my boys loved sleeping in the upstairs extra room which they felt was like their own fort.

The condo was awesome and the location was just stunning! We stayed at Michaels Condo over new year’s 09 for 5 or 6 nights and everything was to our expectation and above and beyond. The place was clean and the building was extremely quiet. I will definitely go back to this beautiful condo.

This is a great place to stay in Lake Arrowhead - adjacent to the Arrowhead Village and the Arrowhead Resort (which includes an incredible spa). The view of the lake was fantastic and the convenience to the village, restaurants and shopping all made for a terrific week. The condo is fully equipped w/ linens and kitchen ware, and it has a lovely balcony from which you can watch the birds (robins, blue jays and red-headed woodpeckers) dine at the bird feeder on the corner of the balcony. We used only the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom, but there is also a large storage space that's been converted into a smallish bedroom that would comfortably sleep 3 to 4 children. During the last week in May-08, the weather ranged from snow to moderate temps in the high 60s to low 70s. We saw it all - and even had time to enjoy a recently released movie in Blue Jay (1.3 miles from the condo). We look forward to going back.

What a beautiful home Michael (the owner) shared with us, with an even more beautiful & panoramic view. The lake & town center are just a hop, skip & a jump away (literally.) Everything we needed was already there for our use. Michael was an absolute pleasure to deal with as he was so easy to get ahold of and was completly accommodating to our needs. What a terriffic place to spend relaxing on the balcony, watching the boats drive by while sipping a glass of wine. My daughter enjoyed swimming in the pool while my husband enjoyed use of the hot tub just a few short steps away from the townhouse as well. It will certainly prove to be one of our most memorable vacation spots ever. I'll definitly want to stay there again.

This is a great condo for a family vacation. It is an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The garage parking is close by . And the view of the lake is very nice. We had snow while we were there, and the stairs, walkways, and streets were cleared very quickly. Would definitely return

We took our kids to see the snow for the first time and what a great experience!!! Perfect place to stay in a comfortable setting with an awesome view of the lake. The townhome is quite spacious and very well equipped with everything you need. The Village is truly right at your doorstep. The owner is very easy to work with, readily available and very informative. I would definitely rent this same unit again.

Nice, centrally located townhouse right in the heart of Arrowhead Village. So there's always something to do and see. The summer concert series and music were great, and nice to be able to hear right from the deck! The surroundings are beautiful and the view of the lake is superb! It's a wonderful way to rest and relax in an environment that serves as a home away from home!
