Adorable place! Very comfortable and wonderfully managed. All the touches that made our visit comfortable - the fire was ready for a match, the hot tub was warmed nicely, place was sparkling clean. Nothing was overlooked. We'd recommend to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This cabin was very private, and had all we needed to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the coast, were we grew up! My sister and I had the best time ever getting caught up as adults in our hometown. The kitchen had everything! it was very charming and the hot tub was the best! Thank you so much for listing this! It was a wonderful weekend get away!! My sister left some clothing items and we called more than a month later and coasting homes had it and sent it to us! Thank you so much for the service, and the wonderful stay!! Highly recommendRecommended for: Girls getaway.

Thanks so much for sharing your home! This is a great bang for your buck! Cabin is definitely a secluded feeling, but right off 1, and one curve away from the Anchor Bay Store which other than the cabin itself, was my favorite part of being here. Fully organic, with everything you could need, and the curried chicken salad should not be missed. They have fresh brewed hot coffee as well, but there is also a coffee shop a couple of doors down. Looking down the gully onto the ocean has you looking over 1 in the process. That also means that you can occasionally hear a car going by but it tends to meld with the sound of the ocean waves, wind and barking seals. It wasn't terribly distracting for me. The property itself is quite large so you have total privacy with a room to wander in the trees if you are so inclined. There is not much bright sunlight as you are in a canopy of trees up on a hill. Cabin was bright and clean upon arrival, and there was a ready to burn fire in the wood stove to greet me. That stove was my best friend. I gave it a hug on the way out. Although I didn't really use it, the kitchen is complete. Bring your own coffee and your favorite chefs knife if you are a chopper. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable! The bathrooms were clean and well done. Living room with the wood burning stove offers a couple of very comfortable leather couches. HUGE windows throughout this area looking out onto the trees enhances the feeling of seclusion. Stereo system has an audio in port so you can connect your phone / mp3 player / laptop and use it as a media server. Big bonus for me had me listening to some audio books, and my own music library. There is also television with basic cable, although I didn't partake much in that, and a VHS library of some random movies with a lot of kid friendly stuff, some board games and a puzzle which I loved doing. Hot tub is a 'soft tub' but it served its purpose. Verrrrrry relaxing and an amazing view of the ocean through a gully of trees. You can hear the stereo from here as well, but its not loud enough to bother anyone further away. If you are coming in from SF, take the dry creek / skaggs road route in from 101 to 1 for an AMAZING drive! When you are there go about 10min north on 1 and there is an empty public road where you can sit on the cliffs and see the curve of the earth. I cant really speak to other activities around as I pretty much spent my time gazing at the wood stove and relaxing.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming get-away home. It is wonderfully designed and maintained for casual living with comfortable furnishing and conveniences. We did not feel that we were in a "rental property". The casual/tasteful decor was very welcoming. The deck is spacious and the many windows are large and give a feeling of peace and seclusion in a forested coastal setting. We enjoyed the beachs in the area and sightseeing along the coast. We will definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.
