  We just got back from our wedding down in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. We stayed at both the Hacienda Del Mar and Hacienda Corazon properties with 39 guests (2 children and 37 adults). The properties are nothing short of amazing! The view of the ocean from the back porch, the beautiful rooms, the location on the beach, the sea kayaks, and the relaxed and laid back nature of the entire place. We absolutely loved it! We were in perfect hands with the hacienda staff taking care of us. They cleaned the rooms and houses daily, always providing fresh towels for our many dips in the pool. Any request we had, Laura, the concierge gladly handled. We even had mani/pedis scheduled by the pool for ultimate relaxation for the girls. If you're looking for a wonderful property to host a large event or an intimate gathering, these haciendas are it! The staff is incredible, the location is amazing and even better ... the entire place is yours to enjoy with your friends and family during your stay. It was truly a memorable experience and we cannot wait to come back once again! To the entire staff at the haciendas including Marina and Laura, thank you for making our wedding week incredible. This is something we will never forget and cannot wait to come back and do it all again some day!

  Amazing wedding at Haciendas Del Mar and Corazon" 5 of 5 After hours and hours of online research (thanks tripadvisor!) and a couple days of visiting venues in Tulum, Puerto and Isla Mujeres, we decided to have our wedding at Hacienda Corazon and Del Mar. In short, it was all we dreamed it could be. The rooms were amazing. The common space was amazing. The pool & beach were amazing. The service was stellar and the food (by Carribbean Sol) was amazing. We had a total of 36 guests stay between the two villas. Del Mar has a great palm tree covered walkway to the house, which is where we had the ceremony. The indoor/outdoor area by the pool is where we had our cocktail reception. The internal courtyard at Corazon was the setting for our dinner, followed by dancing by the pool (and in the pool later on). The management was very flexible given our ever-changing head count. The food was dreamy. (I will admit that I was nervous since I had not tasted any food samples before signing the contract, but Lenny, Francesca and their team completely surpassed my expectations.) Our concierge andrea took care of many of our travel and wedding related needs and even acted as our 'day of' coordinator, which was a great help -booking the band, the sound equipment and handling the decorations. Everyone was helpful and flexible and made our vision of an intimate beach wedding come to life, and for that, we are very grateful. If you have any reason (and the funds) to book a stay at either of these Haciendas, don't hesitate. It will be a fantastic vacation. In fact, you should invite us to come along!

  A bit of paradise" 5 of 5 Hacienda Del Mar met our needs perfectly. The home was bright and open, with comfortable beds and a glorious view. Kayaks were used often by all as was the pool. The staff was helpful and pleasant and fed us fruit from the trees in the yard - fresh bananas and coconuts! We look forward to returning. 04/01/2011

  "A great place to stay with family & friends" 5 of 5 We rented 9 out 11 bedrooms available in april of 2011 having a party of 12 adults and 8 children. The house is very comfortable for a large party and everyone had a blast. I loved the Mexican (rustic) feel of the kitchen and the bathrooms. The pool was large enough and both the adults and the kids enjoyed the pool immensely(approx 10 meters long). Do take advantage of the available (extra cost) chef service. We had our breakfast and lunches cooked for us and prepared the dinner ourselves (part of the fun). Having someone prepare local delicacies and fresh juice and lemonade was priceless. Overall 5 out of 5 and definitely recommend the property for anyone travelling with a large group. The beach directly in front of the property is rocky, so bring rubber booties if you want to swim in the ocean, otherwise there is a stretch of sandy beach approx 200 yrds to the north. -The UN party on 05/09/2011
