  Two families shared this house for a total of 4 adults and 3 toddlers and we all had a wonderful time. The house was clean and exactly as pictured. The house was on a quiet street a little higher up from the main drag in Truckee. It was nice because though there really wasn't any snow on the streets in town, there was still a ton of snow in the backyard so that the kids could clomp around and it still felt like winter.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We had a great time in Tahoe and My Heidi Way was awesome. It snowed and the kids all had a great time. The accommodations were great and it was very spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Very clean and very nice as advertised. Nice that it had WiFi - some of us actually did work. A couple of minor items: - the kids were challenged to initially get the TV to work upstairs. No problem we sent them outside to have a snowball fight - There were not a lot of extra towels and could use a few more hand/wash cloths - no problem we brought a few extra with us.

  We enjoyed an early spring break at the Hiediway Home. Excellent location in Tahoe Donner and very tastefully furnished. A bright and comfortable home with a nice deck and view of the woods.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

  My Heidi Way was very functional for the family with adequate sleeping, leisure and dining area. It was clean and up to date. The entire family completely enjoyed the trip and place to stay. Overall completely satisified with the price and quality of the rental. Would have no apprehension of staying again and again.

  We loved the house and location. The rooms were spacious and there was plenty of seating in the living room. The kitchen was a great work area. There was a shortage of teaspoons and no teapot. We also appreciated being able to park in the garage. Our best dinner was at Pianeta's. Definitely get reservations and expect a large bill. We would recommend this rental.

  This was a beautiful home with all of the exquisite details covered. We had two families with children and were more than comfortable in this home. The easy access to skiing and sledding was awesome! We will definitely visit again.
