There is a private dock for your boat.
The home is totally self-sufficient with 24x24 foot living room. Original fieldstone woodburning fireplace, hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling skylight and panoramic view of the lake. The kitchen & bathrooms boast heated ceramic tiled floors for added comfort. The house has three bathrooms with 2 jacuzzi bathtubs. Plus, there is an apartment with a separate entrance and a spacious second storey loft over the kitchen area.The property is beautifully landscaped with waterfalls, ponds and even a water fountain blending perfectly with the natural woodland surroundings.
All water sports can be enjoyed in the summer and the Trent system offers limitless boating. There are excellent golf courses nearby and lots of other tourist attractions, including petroglyps & native art galleries. In the winter Buckhorn is famous for its spectacular well maintained snowmobil trails. The area offers cross country skiing and down hill slopes. The town of Peterborogh is only 30 minutes away with major shopping malls, hospitals, restaurants & movie theatres.
