The A&P Cottage is located within the Town of Rosemary Beach, situated on the north side of 30A just steps from Vivo Day Spa. When you enter this award-winning Home of the Year (as featured in Metropolitan Home Magazine), you are struck by its rich colors and dramatic details. The handsome A&P Cottage provides a casual, comfortable setting while embracing the traditions of Rosemary Beach. Located where three pedestrian boardwalks meet, A&P's quiet setting is a short stroll from the beach, four magnificent pools, world class dining, or one of the many green neighborhood parks.
On the first floor, you will find three queen-size bedrooms and two baths. Choose to relax in the romantic Master Suite, or enjoy the privacy and comfort of the adjacent guest rooms. Shuttered porches and cozy furnishings add to the charm. For the extended family, there is an additional twin daybed near the guest rooms and queen sleeper sofa upstairs.
The second floor is a spacious living area, with a fireplace in the living/dining room, a half bath, and a true cook’s kitchen. Enjoy the breezes on the long wood porch, or venture up to the third floor observation tower for expansive vistas of Rosemary Beach. What a wonderful place to catch up on a long-postponed novel or toast the setting sun as it slips into the Gulf of Mexico. The A&P Cottage was everything it promised. It is well located only steps from town square. We loved strolling down in the morning to the coffee shop. The home is well furnished and very comfortable. Also the kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils, cookware, and small appliances. So many places neglect these important details. Sitting on the third floor open air balcony was a special treat, and instantly relaxes you and puts you in a great frame of mind. We look forward to returning soon and would recommend it to a friend without hesitation.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Loved every minute. Cottage had all the amenities needed to make our stay relaxing, enjoyable and luxuriously comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Gourmet kitchen was a pleasant surprise. Easy walk to the town square, pools and beach. Outside private shower was great especially since the seaweed in the gulf was bad that week. Even saw a shooting star from up on the tower. The only disappointment was that we had to leave~Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Wonderful place for a nice relaxing week at the beach! The house is decorated beautifully with rich warm colors! The house has ample porch space with great views! Comfortable beds too!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are A&P- not to be confused with old grocery money! We are standing in front of our lot that we purchased in 1998. 'A' is an architect and designed the A&P Cottage (as well as a dozen others in Rosemary Beach and along 30-A). 'P' is in Health Care, but is more of an 'architect wanna-be'. Our cottage was completed in 2001 and has provided an amazing setting for many gatherings with friends and family.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We began visiting coastal Walton County in the late 1980's, drawn by the natural beauty of the beaches, and emerging Traditional Neighborhood Design of Seaside, and later Rosemary Beach. We choose our lot in Rosemary Beach based on the quiet board walk location and the ability to build a 3rd floor tower. Ten years later, the town has matured and we have become more a part of this community than we ever imagined. We think of this as a second home that we are fortunate enough to share with others, more than a vacation rental.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
A good trip to the A&P Cottage for us means never having to start the car after arriving. Stroll the boardwalk to a beach chair with a favorite magazine, or for a sunset toast, cycle the town and explore the unique architecture and design, visit one of the many park greens for a round of bocce, or head to Town Square for great dining and shopping. The biggest decision of the trip is usually deciding which of the 4 amazing pools to visit next!
