Come and take advantage of this beautiful 4400 square foot luxury lakefront home now with lower nightly rates than ever, within the Lake Cumberland Resort area. This home is one the largest in the resort and has spectacular views of the lake from several vantage points including the spacious deck located at the rear of the home.

The best thing about this lot is that it sits on approximately 2 acres and one of two 5 bedroom properties that are lake front. Most of the lake is a huge drop-off in all other resorts, but this one is right on the water with a much smaller drop off.
There are five large bedrooms available, two of which are Master Suites that are equipped to accommodate all the needs of a Lake Cumberland vacationer to make them feel at home. One master suite has a large king size bed and the other one has a queen size bed. The third upstairs bedroom is set up as a kids room with two sets of bunk beds. There is a bedroom on the lower level with a queen size bed and baby crib. The main master suite is downstairs and offers a fabulous view overlooking the lake. This master suite includes a very romantic soaking tub and exquisite large shower. This master suite is amazing! Most rooms are equipped with adequate closet space and televisions. The kitchen is equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances and cookware that can aid in the preparation of almost any meal. The kitchen is decorated with beautiful rich cherry wood cabinets, siletone counter tops, and best of all a breakfast nook that has a fabulous view of the lake. The Great Room has a stone fire place that extends up through the second story making it a cozy room that is ultra comfortable. The amenities of the Great Room are only eclipsed by the spectacular view of the lake from its vantage point. There is a game room that is set up for entertaining just in case the lake and resort leave you wanting more. The game room has a pool table, dart board, and foosball. The large deck in the rear of the property gives one the opportunity to become one with nature as it has by far the best view of Lake Cumberland while offering both privacy and relaxation. It is equipped with deck furniture and a gas grill. In addition, guests are welcomed to utilize the two car garage that comes with it.
The Resort is centrally located between Lexington, Louisville, Knoxville, Nashville and Cincinnati and can be reached by most major highways in two to three hours. We are located in the proximity of Highway l-75, which connects Cincinnati and Knoxville. Approaching from Hwy. I-75, the Resort is within 45-minutes of exit 62. Cumberland Falls is 25 miles from the resort and is the most popular tourist attraction in the area. Somersplash water park is 30 minutes and has recently expanded and we have 2 new restaurants coming to Burnside soon - summer 2010.
The Resort is a 1000-acre peninsula, shared with the Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring the bikes as there is plenty of private roads within this gated community. There is a tennis court, three pools and country store with basic supplies.

Wonderful New Year's Eve

A group of friends stayed at this wonderful home for New Year's Eve. The home had everything we needed. Upstairs there is one bedroom (queen bed) with private bath, one other with queen bed and access to bathroom from the bedroom and hall, one bedroom with 2 sets twins, Also, there is another private room with pool table, bar and pull out sofa. The main level has a wonderful master suite with king bed and one bedroom with a queen. There was a comment about the lack of privacy for the master suite. This is due to the fact that the fireplace is double sided and can been seen through from the living room. It was no problem for us to put up a couple of towels for the privacy. We cooked all our meals during our 3 night stay and the kitchen was well equip. We did take one large skillet with us due to other recommendations. The only item that was missing for us was a blender.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This beautiful home is lakefront property. Yes right now the lake is down due to the cracks in the damn which they are currently working on but you can walk down to the lake on the property next door. As far as the comment that was made about the deck not useable it is a very useable nice deck with lounge chairs and table with extra chairs for more people.It also has a nice big propane grill. The game room is well equipped and since the comment was made about it being dark they have added more lighting in that room. And there is lot of privacy. There is plenty of parking for many vechicles including boats. And also have use of a 2 car garage. It is only about 15-20 minutes to get to town but if you really want to get a way from it all I highly recommend this property. There is also a goat next door and alot of friendly people. What more could a person ask for?
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

House is not actually lakefront and is a long ways to get to access water. Game room is very dark as is upstairs bathroom. Master bedroom does not have privacy. Porch/ Patio is not covered nor is it screened so it is unuseable. No jacuzzi tub, very dissapointing. No place to leave boat on lake and home is at the very end of resort, very long ways to town or launch ramps. Looks pretty but is not real convenient or accomodating.
