This luxurious, first-floor Condominium is next to the pool and barbecue area and is steps to the elevator to under-ground parking, where a dedicated parking space is available for renters' use. Beautiful tropical landscaped grounds, on-site manager, plus nearby property manager are available to solve needs or concerns. This is a Non-Smoking unit, but ashtrays are available if you must smoke outside in designated areas.

Located just off Alii drive, this condo is walking distance to Kailua Village and is just steps away to the beach, shopping and a variety of restaurants, including Outback and Hard Rock Cafe, to name a few. Across the street, the Royal Kona Resort has several luau's each week.Great snorkeling beaches are on Alii Drive, just a short trip down this scenic drive.

Last minute specials occur during gap times-watch for them! Low season minimum is three nights. High season min. is seven nights.Cancellations must occur 30 days or more prior to to your arrival date to obtain a full refund. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival date, your deposit is forfeited unless we are able to re-rent the unit for your dates. There will be a $50 service fee if we can re-rent the unit as specified.Extra person (over 3) fees apply per day/week. Late checkout fee is 1/2 daily rate plus taxes.

Why the Owner Chose Kona Pacific

Over the 9 years from our first visit here, we made friends with many local people who run the various businesses you see and use. They told us their stories and why and when they made the move. They gave us valuable information about the cost of living and the offsetting benefits. That is the beauty of the islands which is reflected in the aloha spirit. We spent many a vacation here pooring over the Homes for Sale pamphlets you see at many stands and even had an agent or 2 take us around to see homes. We kept logs and pictures and compared prices and what type of property would fit our needs. Once we decided it would be best to do a vacation rental, we felt it would be easier to maintain and rent if we bought a condo. We chose Kona Pacific for its location, it's concrete construction (quiet) and it has a wonderful management group and is well maintained overall. It had been recently remodeled and even new appliances, all we needed to do was furnish it. Over the years, we removed the carpet and it is now tiled throughout. We updated the bathrooms, kitchen, air conditioners, etc., etc. All a labor of love.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium

We have it all! Clean freaks will rejoice at our painstaking efforts to make you feel comfortable. As a returning guest recently wrote us, she commented that she loves our lanai and .."I also sat out there and read in the evening when I had been in the sun all
day and needed some cool shade. I could hear and talk to the boys in the pool at the
same time and let them know when dinner was ready. It also is a good way of advertising
it as another "room" in the condo- I notice that a lot on VRBO and Homeaway, big comfy outdoor furniture....We wouldn't stay anywhere else!!!! Love it! ".

Owner's Map of Kona Pacific

We are both native southern Californians, so the ocean has always been a part of our lives. Jackie worked in Honolulu for 6 months at age 25 and when we traveled to Kona with Jackie's family and our sons in 1993, we fell in love with the Big Island and swore we would live here someday. Influenced by our local friends who own a fishing charter business, Bill studied for and became a licensed USCG captain. Although he can only help out when we are here on vacation, Bill started guiding in Southern California lakes and local ocean areas 2 years ago. Our dream would be to have our own charter boat in Kona, but going out with our friends here is the next best thing. Jackie is a CPA and since she has her own business and uses technology to connect to her staff and clients, she is literally free to travel. So, we added DSL and a desk to the condo to accommodate our needs and our guests also benefit! We take pride in making our condo better than a 5 star hotel (if your remove room service).       Title: AMAZING Kona Condo in paradise! Aloha, With 2 daughters who attend UH Hilo, we have been to the islands many times. This is by far the best Kona rental we have ever stayed in. We only return to this condo- for so many reasons. The owners of this condo do a great job of adding comfort items and remodeling often to make your stay it's best. It is a big, comfy, spacious condo and all the special additions makes it feel like home away from home. The beautiful kitchen has everything you would ever need, and a gorgeous Hawaiian tiled island. The TWO bathrooms are such an added treat & the master bath has a huge jetted tub. A washer and dryer in the unit is a welcome plus. (Laundry soap provided for you!) Of course cable TV and internet also in this unit. The large private lanai extends from the master bedroom the entire width of the condo. The pictures of the lanai do not do it justice! We eat 2 meals a day out on it. It is like having another room in the condo. The lanai is located directly next door to the pool which is great when the 2 boys and dad are in the pool if I'm in making dinner. The pool and pool area are fantastic-the pool itself is huge, the deck around it has many sun lounge chairs, outdoor showers, gas BBQ's, a large gazebo with fridge, sink and bathrooms-great for prepping & keeping your food in if you are BBQing and nice to have poolside bathrooms so you don't have to run back to the condo. The sunsets from the pool deck are just beautiful. The condo is also stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, everything you need for great beach outings. The building itself is a concrete building-so very quiet. In downtown (Kona-5 minutes away) many of the rentals are right in the thick of all the night time noise...all nite long! Another favorite of mine is the private parking stall that you get with the condo (parking is $25 per day in many other buildings) The condo, the pool and the parking stall are located RIGHT OFF the elevator. Whether there are 2 of you or 6 of you, this is the best rental choice you can make-not to mention the great rates! I am sure you will enjoy your stay here, and I am sure you will join the group of "returning visitors". Nina, Seattle
