We love to start the day early ,on the deck watching the Ducks on the Lake, the Hummingbirds on the feeder an the beautiful Sunrise before taking up the activities of the day! For me it's then off to work and Bob is off to......??? must be nice to be retired!!

The cottage, the lake, the mountains, the weather...all made for a wonderful getaway. The cottage was just perfect for our family getaway...the kids all had such fun swimming, fishing, hiking, watching the hummingbirds, nightly 'smores, meeting new friends, and even watching a snapping turtle! Jeanne was so helpful with all our questions and her information on the area made for some fun outings! We can't wait to return!

The lake house is perfect for a laid back/casual vacation in the mountains. It had everything we needed including great weather when we visited in June 2011. Owners Bob and Jean are fantastic and didn't overlook a single detail including fresh cut flowers upon arrival. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Gas grill, fire pit, and the deck boat topped off everything we needed for a ton of fun with the kids. We'll be back!
