"Thank you so much for sharing your cozy home wth us. We have rented numerous homes in various places over the years and were extremely pleased with yours. We were very comfortable here and needed the rest from our busy lives. We have vacationed in Lake Toxway for over 17 years and hope to stay in your lovely home again. It was wonderful being able to stay longer the 2nd time around. We had great weather which enabled us to hike the waterfalls, lounge in the hammock and fish A LOT! We also swam in the lake by accident-we started to get in the canoe but flipped ourselves over in the lake! The water was so wrm we just went swimming! Saw rainbows on the lake twice--Awesome! Thanks for sharing your place with us!

What can we say? Your home is abosulutely a piece of paradise! Our week was just great! Visited with friends, hiked the Toxaway River Trail but our favorite part was just cruising the Lake! We enjoyed having a cruise with you. You are wonderful peole and we definetly look forward to returning again soon.

Concerns are a million miles away when you are tubing full speed, watching the cloud mist shower on the Mountains, or wa=--Air cool enough to make your coffe steam.. Thank you for a wonderful week!

6th year Thanks again for a splendid week in the Mountains. It is always a pleasure to visit with you and enjoy your home in Lake Toxaway. The boat was running well and we composed a few new tunes! We Look forward to next year!

The cottage, the lake, the mountains, the weather...all made for a wonderful getaway. The cottage was just perfect for our family getaway...the kids all had such fun swimming, fishing, hiking, watching the hummingbirds, nightly 'smores, meeting new friends, and even watching a snapping turtle! Jeanne was so helpful with all our questions and her information on the area made for some fun outings! We can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our time herer and thank you for creatiing this slice of heaven at Toxaway! Hummingbirds..Cycling, boating, reading in the hammock, our days were fun and relaxing. Cornucopia in Cashiers--delicious casual fare and a lovely setting. Our favorite was hiking Whitewate Falls--beautiful! Thank you so much for all you've done to make our trip so much fun..

The lake house is perfect for a laid back/casual vacation in the mountains. It had everything we needed including great weather when we visited in June 2011. Owners Bob and Jean are fantastic and didn't overlook a single detail including fresh cut flowers upon arrival. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Gas grill, fire pit, and the deck boat topped off everything we needed for a ton of fun with the kids. We'll be back!

Thank you for the perfect vacation! We were so comfortable in your home, and the beautiful lake view could not be better. We loved having the boat to explore the lake and fishing from your dock. We definitely hope to come back!

once again we have been amazed at all the new treasures God has in store for us at Lake Toxaway & the "Foster's" Retreat. this is our 7th year in your lake home and so we have taken "ownership" in it's beauty. Once again it has fulfilled our expectations and more Best trip ever!

05-Once again we have had a wonderful trip to our favorite getaway! Bonfires by night and boating by day! 04-Glorious time on the lake and hiking the waterfalls...beauty of Lake Toxaway and your fabulous home...Thank you once again for our slice of Heaven 01--nothing on a schedule..visit Opie Taylors toy store in Brevard...cold mornings in July, cool clear water,fishing, chip monks, humming birds,white clouds drifting down mountain tops,lazy mornings swinging on the deck,boating,friendly faces everywhere..a big slice of Heaven Luke--9 years old--WE HAD A BLAST

06--once again we spent a spectacular week... 05--we think of it as"home" after 4 years 04--the changes you've made inside make it even more inviting(if that's possible) 03-what a great week at Lake Toxaway --very comfortable 02-what a view,boating fishing tubing great We don't want to leave but we'll be back!

7/06 WE thoroughly enjoyed the lake-tubing,swimming,sightseeing,fishing and just relaxing. The kids loved every moment ans so did we. ..Brevard has great downtown area...Each child caught more than 15 fish...Prize was a 5lb bass off the boat dock...Time to book another week for next summer!

Lake Toxaway has everything Cottage has all the creature comforts Wish we had two weeks at least beautiful flowers everywhere played golf at 4 courses-just wonderful Rocky's soda shop in Brevard, Brown Trout Restaurant enchanted cottage, comfy master suite,cozy fireplace, WE'LL BE BACK1111

The house, property, lake, mountains, and sun were fantastic. This was easily the most beautiful lake experience of my life. My family had a wonderful, quiet vacation. We can' wait to go back.

The lake setting was breathtaking and the chalet was first class and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The only thing better than sitting on the deck on a sunny day was lying out in the tree hammock. There was lots of antiquing and interesting drives to picturesque historic towns. It was a great vacation and I hope to return soon.

We spent 2 vacations in this cosy chalet; not to mention the great location directly on the Lake. We loved it a lot. North Carolina is beautiful.

We stayed in this property and never wanted to leave. The chalet is very comfortable, it has a lovely screened lanai and large outside deck, all directly overlooking the lake. There's a dock right out front & taking out the pontoon boat for rides, tubing or fishing was our favorite thing to do. The mountains are beautiful - lots of trails and waterfalls nearby - shopping and great restaurants too, if you don't feel like cooking. It was our best vacation & I can't wait to return.
