Step outside and stroll down the hill to the private beach just steps away or to the charming Town Landing Market for delectable treats such as coffee, made-to-order sandwiches or prepared lobster and fine wines. Stay close to home for the day and swim, canoe, kayak, sail, hike, golf or cycle; or venture a few minutes away and you'll discover some of Maine's finest treasures.
With Portland just minutes away, you will have access to a sizzling city named by Frommer's a "Top 12 World Travel Destination for 2007"! Portland is home to some of the finest restaurants in the U.S., 2nd only to San Francisco in restaurants per capita and is also known for the fabulous boutiques in the Old Port Exchange and the Arts District. Museums and galleries also abound in our city, ranking in 7th place in the list of "Top 100 Art Towns in America", including a fantastic Children's Museum. From the Old Port, you can head out for whale-watching, lobstering excursions, dinner cruises, or take the ferry to the islands of Casco Bay.
This fully restored turn-of-the-century cottage was completely remodelled and redecorated in 2006, with many additional new renovations and new furniture pieces added in 2007. Room air conditioners have been added for the 2008 summer season. The kitchen and bath have also recently been remodelled and are fully stocked with everything you need!
The Master bedroom feature sassy hand-painted diamond-patterened floors, a luxurious king-sized bed with bedding from Maine Cottage, a new luxury mattress and a brand new 19" flat panel TV. Wake up to see the ocean from your bed or step out onto your private deck with new adirondacks to enjoy the views with your morning coffee. The second bedroom features a verdi-gris queen-sized iron bed with Maine Cottage bedding and a whimsical polka-dot bordered floor; and the third bedroom is small and cozy with two twin beds and a nautical theme. House also includes brand new high chair, pack 'n play porta-crib and tot wheels.
