This is a unique private setting which is hard to find on Flathead Lake.
Enjoy all types of water sports on this pristine, huge lake. In Lakeside boats and water toys may be rented.
We are located 4.2miles South of Lakeside, twenty minutes South of Kalispell, and approx 30 miles North of the town of Polson, Montana.
Deep Bay is less than a couple hours drive to beautiful Glacier Park, less than one hour to Big Mountain Ski resort and 30 minutes to Blacktail ski resort.

When we first arrived, we were in complete awe of the sheer beauty of the location. When we opened the door, the house took my breath away. This is truly the most beautiful lake house we have ever seen. I feel truly blessed to be enjoying the gorgeous views this house has to offer with all the windows. The sun dock was so private and sunny. I also had the pleasure of kayaking out to the little island and exploring its terrain. Thank you for creating such an amazing escape.

We really enjoyed Deep Bay Center and Earth House. The lake is so beautiful and the property and dock are so private - this was idyllic spot for me and my family to experience. We had so much fun in the lake and were happy to have so much room and everything we needed in the cabin. Thank you so much for your suggestions and prompt response to our questions. We would definitely stay at Deep Bay again.

We loved this rental. It is located on a beautiful bay and has a wonderful view of Flathead Lake. The house was very clean and we felt very comfortable there with plenty of room. The woodwork and beamed ceilings were gorgeous. There were plenty of linens and towels supplied. The water is incredibly clean and there is a nice area for fishing off the dock and swimming with supervison of small children. It is very quiet there at night and we all enjoyed the evenings with the full moon shining on the lake. The Somers Cafe just a few minutes down route 93 (in the town of Somers) is a great place to eat as is Tamarack which is a micro-brewery in Lakeside.

These houses are not children or older people friendly. There is a difficult road plus many stairs to even access the lake! The house that we stayed in had a very light carpet, and you were required to not wear shoes in the house! If you need shoes for health reasons this makes it difficult. We also found mouse droppings in the house as well as the barbecue. We also had a problems with a flying bug in the house. The view is beautiful, but it wasn't one I would ever rent again.
Owner response:We have had many renters with young children and 55+ who absolutely loved this rental. As pictured in this listing, this house is located in a wooded area and we try to keep the setting as natural as possible. The droppings you saw were not mice droppings. We do have bats in the area and they can be very active this time of year. If you had mentioned it, we would have taken care of it immediately. I did inspect the house prior to your occupancy and did not see any droppings in the house nor have I seen any since your departure. Again, it would have been nice if you had mentioned any of this during your stay so it could have been addressed immediately. Although we ask that shoes be removed in order to preserve the carpet, it is not required and if health reasons exist, they should, of course, be worn.

Rock skipping and rock painting. Kayaks on windy waves, much swimming. Hummingbirds entertained us. Baby cottontails and baby chipmunks close by. Much hiking. Wonderful week! Relaxing.
