Our luxuriously decorated five bedroom family vacation home has been appointed with every comfort. Ideal for golfers and single families who appreciate beautiful surroundings in immaculate condition. Our beach getaway includes a sunroom, large front porch with wicker furniture and a beautiful pond view, a deck complete with outdoor furniture, a gas grill, and a peaceful view of the 23rd fairway. An outside shower completes the outside amenities.
The first floor has a family room complete with two sofas, one of which is a queen size sleeper, and one chair with ottoman. A 36 inch TV with DVD/VCR and cable entertainment center is over the cozy gas fireplace. Adjacent built in shelves house a stereo and are stocked with books, games and puzzles. A large, attractive up-graded kitchen is fully equipped and designed for efficiency and convenience, and includes comfortable dining accommodations for 8 persons. A counter with bar stools offers additional casual dining. A sunroom with recliners and love-seat adjoins the dining area and overlooks the golf course. A fully equipped laundry room off the great room connects to the two car garage.
Our home includes two master bedroom suites on the main floor, one with a king size bed and one with a queen. The king size master has a luxurious soaking tub and tiled shower. The queen size master has a shower/tub combination. Upstairs, two tastefully decorated bedrooms with queen size beds share a Jack & Jill bath with a shower/tub combination. The third bedroom upstairs is decorated for the little ones with bunk beds, a built in corner bench with games, toys and videos. A 27 inch TV (cable/DVD/VCR) completes this cozy getaway spot. All bedrooms have new comfortable mattresses and cozy bedding to make your nights relaxing and restful.
The Village at Bear Trap Dunes, approximately three miles west of Bethany, offers a 27 hole award winning public golf course with a beautiful clubhouse that houses a pro shop and fine restaurant. In addition to the golf course, amenities include a fully equipped fitness center, indoor pool, two outdoor pools, five tennis courts, and free 15 minute shuttle service to the beautiful beaches at Bethany. Close by are water activities of all sorts, outlet shopping, miniature golf, amusements, and cinemas.

Very nice house with a great lay-out. Has everything you need. Close to the kids pool which was great for us. Owners are great to work with. We'll definitely stay again.

A beautiful, comfortable, well maintained home located in a quiet corner of Bear Trap Dunes that features many amenities not usually offered in other rentals. The view from the backyard deck is very picturesque! It's conveniently located near the bus shuttle stop and a green square. The owners are pleasant and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

In all our years coming to Bear Trap 229 October Glory has been the best house we've rented. It has a great floor plan, a well equipped kitchen, is beautifully decorated, is right by the shuttle stop, it even has bikes/beach chairs! Highly recommended!

Our entire family had a perfect week at 229 October Glory and were sorry to leave. The house was by by far the nicest house that we have rented to date and certainly the very best stocked. We very much enjoyed using the cookware, bakeware and utensils. The location was perfect. We went to the beach for several hours every morning,then returned for lunch. We spent the afternoons at the pools and on Tues and Thurs afternoon the children did Arts and Crafts. My son-in-law was able to golf several time during the week. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the lovely, quiet deck. The new Weber grill was a pleasure to use. We definitley plan to return to this lovely home. We have enjoyed both of our visits to 229 October Glory. It is the perfect place for a getaway, peaceful, quiet and close to many different activities. The kids especially enjoyed using the pool and evenings strolling around the town of Bethany. The shuttle makes trips to the beach and town convenient. The house is beautiful, large and emaculately clean. We hope to visit again soon!

What a lovely and peaceful place to relax, quiet and casual and right on the golf course. The floorplan is very convenient and there is plenty of room for everyone. We had four adults and 4 children and didn't get in each other's way. The neighborhood is very convenient to anywhere you want to go and the shuttle to Bethany Beach is practically on the front porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will look for this property the next time we come. The owners were very easy to work with and completely professional. We recommend this property highly. Enjoy.
