Hi Jason -- thanks so very much for letting me use your condo the week of June 20th. The condo was great -- the place was clean, kitchen had everything you needed and it was very quiet. I also appreciated your great driving directions and "things to do in the area." This was my first visit to the Shenandoah Valley and I was very impressed with the beauty of the landscape and the people we met were very friendly. We definitely will be back.

Booked a Valentines day weekend with my girlfriend on short notice with Jason. Had a great time at Bryce resort, which the condo was right around the corner from. We will definitely be returning soon!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend away at Bryce Resort. The condo was in a perfect location for skiing and all of the other activities Bryce offers. Weekend Oasis was very accommodating and easy to work with. It even snowed one of the nights we were there!

We stayed at this condo and it was not what we expected, even for the low cost. Most of the VRBO reviews for this property are "entered by owner" and we did not notice that until after we rented the property. The condo complex is old and in desperate need of maintenance and up-dating. Not a welcoming place for a four-day weekend. Our condo was clean ..that's about the only positive comment I can make. The living room/kitchen/dining area is small. The window air conditioner did not cool off the living room area, not to mention the bedroom. The bedroom consisted of a full or queen bed and that filled the entire bedroom. There wasn't a dresser or any place to store your clothing except for the sofa. It was a bit weird that during our visit - four days, we only saw one person and three cars in the 30-40 unit condo complex. I have rented many many VRBO properties and have always been satisfied - this choice was fair - poor.

Owner response:I am sad to hear you did not enjoy your stay. The square footage of the unit is clearly marked on the listing. Yes, it is a 1 bedroom condo, small. The complex is 40 years old but well maintained. I am surprised you felt otherwise. We take pride in our units and I wish I could change things to make you happy, however, this is a smaller 1 bedroom unit in Basye, VA. It is clean, well equipped, high speed internet, and a back side unit so you won't see many other guests. We have a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath luxury cabin that is only 3 years old you might prefer. For the price, location, and what it has to offer, this is a great condo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Virginia. The scenery is very attractive with very quiet roads to travel. Many thanks for the use of your condo which was very clean on arrival. It gave us such a good comfortable base to see the area. Also it gave us a restful peaceful haven to return to in the evening. The deck in early morning and evening time was very welcome. We love to sit outdoors and the birds were in good voice. After the daytime heat we also welcomed the surprising coolness inside. Luray Caverns complex is among the best we have seen in the world. We have now seen the sights of both the War of Independence and the Civil War from north to south and even learned some of our own history. We did get a bit of ragging in Williamsburg even though we live only a few miles from George Washington's ancestral home. Once again many thanks for making us so welcome.

This is my second time at the Bryce Condo. I absolutely love getting away from the city to enjoy an extended weekend in the mountains. The Fall season is my favorite time because I get to see the leaves turn into a beautiful bouquet of Orange, Red, and Yellow colors. The condo is very peaceful. A great place to have a nice home cooked meal in front of the fireplace for those that don't want to eat out everyday.

Bryce Hill Condos are a great getaway from city-living. Close to DC and the surrounding areas, the condos are a convenient way to escape for a weekend without breaking the bank. From zip-lining to grass skiing to brunch after a round of golf, there are numerous options for fun and/or relaxation in the summertime. Highly recommended.

The condo community was very quiet and well maintained, and in a beautiful setting. I was very happy to be able to have my two small dogs with me. It was very convenient to Shrine Mont where I was attending a week-long workshop, and I could come back to the condo throughout the day to check on my dogs and walk them.

My husband and I loved your condo. I’ve rented places like yours before but they all lacked the details your condo has. First of all it was very clean and organized! It felt like home and the extra towels and little details like magazines and the internet and cable were the best. Also, I loved the fact your appliances are new (unlike the smelly old fridges other properties have).
