Home has a large deck (16-by-32 feet) where you can sunbathe, bar-b-que or just sit and swing while relaxing to the sound of the ocean waves.Great room with fireplace, seating on large sectional plus a comfy sofa. Also a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area. For your enjoyment there is a VCR and DVD player, and stereo.
One block away is Carolina Beach Lake:Ride a bike, skate or jog on the paved walk around the Lake or try out a paddle boat. A short walk to town where you will find the Marina/Boardwalk where you will find Charter boats, many fine restaurants and many unique shops. There is also your choice of surf, pier or deep sea fishing. Carolina Beach State Park has 6 miles of nature walk/hiking trails and a full-service marina. Also available is the Carolina Aquarium, Fort Fisher Civil War Museum, North Carolina Underwater Archaeology Headquaters, and a 1/2-hour Ferry ride to Historic Southport.

We had the house full 4 adults, and 5 kids and we were all comfortable. The layout is great. Very nice. But being right on the beach and you own walk is great. Just a great all a round place to stay for the money.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
