A Gathering Place and Arts on Park Av. have joined together to provide you with a wonderful vacation filled with the great outdoors and art classes. We have Six cozy cabins... for family reunions, weddings, corporate gatherings or just friends. We also offer a combination of lodging and art classes. Five days of painting classes with lodging include: class instruction, supplies and lodging. Coffee and rolls start the day and a box lunch at noon.$500. per person...double occupancy required.
The Six cabins are located in the "Village of Grand Lake, Colorado". They are at the entrance of the "Rocky Mountain National Park". The cabins surround a central gathering deck, cook-out area fire pit and several BBQ's.
Cabin #1 & #2 are rustic in nature with antique furniture.
Cabin #1 is a two bedroom and will sleep 10
cabin #2 is a one bedroom and will sleep 6.
The other Four of the cabins have been totally updated with soft pine from floor to ceiling. New kitchens and baths. Bedrooms have queen beds and bunks. Living room has sleeper sofa.
These Cabins will sleep approx 6 each.
"A Gathering Place" & "Arts On Park Avenue" have joined together to offer art classes and lodging. The art classes are given by visiting artists who come into the area to teach residents and visitors alike. .
Just for fun! We also have art classes in painting with oil,acrylic and water color.
Rocky Mountain National Park is wonderful to hike, bike, swim, fish and so much more. Don't forget your camera. The wildlife is incredible.
Summers in Grand Lake are great with horseback riding, fishing, swimming, hiking, rock climbing and fun activities in the park.
Half block to the City Park, Community Theater with live entertainment, boardwalk, and restaurants.
Grand Lake is a gathering place for the young and young at heart. Come join the fun. We are open from May 15th to Oct 31st.

- Bunk Bed : Each Cabin has Bunk beds except for Unit Three which is one queen bed and one sofa bed. 4 Adults max in cabin #3
- Convertible Bed : Each Living Room has a Sofa Bed that converts to a Double Bed

- Video Library : We have a wide selection of movies in the office area of cabin number (1) one. Please enter off of the courtyard between the hours of 9:00am and 9:00pm (this cabin is also rented out) office is one room at the rear of the cabin. Please knock bebore entering.
- Shared Pool : There is a swimming pool in Grand Lake. It is three blocks from the cabins and is located inside one of local motels. The price to swim is minimal. Open to public!

- Full Kitchen : Each Cabin has a full Size Stove with Oven and a Refrigerator, Micro Wave, coffee pot, toaster, pots and pans and dishes.

- Refrigerator : We have a refrigerator in every cabin with a freezer at the top.

- Catering Available : The Village is one of the best known for it's wonderful food. We have many restaurants that provide catering to the site. We do weddings, family reunions, and corporate retreats.

- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill (2) : Central Bar-B-Que and Serving Counter In the Courtyard is a great place to hold a gathering. Don't forget the hot dogs, hamburgers and other special open fire treats you can cook over an open fire in the fire pit.
- Deck/Patio : Central Entertaining Deck With Picnic Table and Benches adjacent to the Bar-B-que area and the Fire Pit. A lot of time is spent in this area visiting and playing games and having contests between your friends and family. This takes on a special meaning when you gather with those you enjoy being with.
- View/Location
- Lake View : The lake is located about 1 1/2 blocks from the cabins. It is an easy walk. We are one half block to the park and another 1 1/2 blocks to the lake. We are a Village with everything within easy walking distance of the cabins.
- Mountain View : See the Mountains in all Directions Two Blocks to the Public Beach on Grand Lake. The views are breath-taking. The walks in and around the Village of Grand Lake is worth every minute you spend here. Enjoy the wildlife. Moose, elk, bear, fox, chipmunks and more all in the downtown area.
- Golf Course View : Golf course is just 2 miles north of town. Set in the valley of the Rocky Mountains. Rolling Hills, beautiful vistas, tall pines, and what a day you will spend on the course. Bring the family it is a family course.

- Telephone : Public telephones are found at the library, coffee shops, laundry, grocery store and gas station. Bring your cell phone.
- Cell Phone : If you need to call out please let me know. We have a cell phone we allow our guests to use in case of emergency. There are public phones at the laundromat, coffee shop, library, park and several other locations in the Village of Grand Lake.
- Broadband Internet : The new library located 1/2 half block from the cabins has free wifi and desktop computer stations. Many free wifi hotspots within 2 blocks of the cabins.

- Stay in the Village of Grand Lake, Co. We are located just 1/2 block from downtown Grand Lake and the city park. If you are looking for a location you can walk everywhere from this maybe just the place for you and your family. We are family friendly. We allow your pets to travel with you. If you are a good pet owner and take special care of your pets we would love to have you stay with us.
- Suitability
- Pet Friendly : We love dogs. We ask you to bring a pet kennel with you so when you are not in the cabin your pet will have a safe place to be. We do not allow pets to be left in the cabins unattended. Dogs must be on a leash at all time in the Village of Grand Lake. There is a stiff fine if they are found off the cabin site without an owner or a leash. If they are caught chasing wildlife they could be put down by the sheriff. Please walk with your dog. The exercise is great for you and your pet.
- Kid Friendly : We are a family gathering place. We love kids and welcome them with open arms. Kids of all ages are welcome. We offer art classes for the kids on the deck of Arts On Park Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday one block east of cabins on Park Avenue. 941-623-3720 Karen
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : We only rent to adults over the age of 21. We have found in the past under-age drinking and noise is a problem in the Village of Grand Lake, Co. The cabins are located in a residential area. Loud music and out of control drinking will not be tolerated. Adults only and minors when accompanied by an adult.
- Smoking Allowed : Smoking is allowed in the courtyard. There are ashtrays in the courtyard. Please use them. We do not allow smoking in the cabins. Please help us keep our cabins smoke-free. Please put all butts in fire-pit or ashtrays.
