What a great 'girls weekend' get away. There were 5 of us and we had so much fun in your beautiful cottage. We played pool, foosball, went hot tubbing, and enjoyed all of our time at Wayberry. We decided the first night that this would be our new annual 'girls weekend' location. Thanks so much, it was great!

Thank you Matt, this place was so awesome. We booked the Wayberry for my husbands 40th Birthday Celebration. The place is so fantastic, we enjoyed the hot tub, foosball table, pool table etc. We took a snowy hike through the woods, went into Traverse City, also did some skiing. I think the favorite thing was to come back to the cottage with all of the wonderful ammenities you provide. Thanks again, it was truly a memorable weekend, we are already talking about next years trip!

Our family has voted to make this an annual event ! For some of us, this was our 2nd stay and it was as great as our first. The newbies were instantly charmed. Clean, well maintained, cozy and big enough for 12 of us! We had 4 little kids, ages 3 -6, who had so much fun they didn't want to leave. We did a scavenger hunt in the woods with them and had campfires almost every night. No worries about them being too loud and disturbing neighbors. They ran, played, collected pine cones and fire wood and we big kids relaxed, played, ate and drank to our hearts content! It is close to Traverse City so we went to a Beach Bums baseball game, shopped, ate Moomer's ice cream etc. We took a canoe trip with Riverside Canoes, visited Sleeping Bear Park, hiked the dunes, played at Esch Rd Beach. Everyone loved the drive-in movie theater ... what a blast from the past! Long Lake is a great place to rent a boat and hang out on the water ... we used Sunset boat rental. Also enjoyed picking raspberries, visiting a winery ( 2 Lads ), and buying some fresh picked cherries out on Old Mission Peninsula. Don't worry about running out of things to do . . . By far, the best part of every day was spent back at Wayberry Cottage ... or "the little red house in the woods" as we like to call it. Matt, the owner, is readily available to answer any questions and the cottage looks just like the photos and description. We brought tons of food and enjoyed cooking together and pitching in with the cleaning chores.. . a much more bonding experience than eating in restaurants! Can't imagine a more perfect place for our family. We have so many lovely memories of our "Michigan Place" and hope to return again off season, as well as our annual summer trip.

We stayed at the Wayberry over New Years' Eve with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. Matt helped us to feel right at home and we all were able to relax and enjoy the idyllic location. We snowshoed around the 15 acres and made a day trip to Timberlee Tubing. It was a great several days in the woods which we would return to anytime our schedule allows!

October 9-15, 2009 We really enjoyed our stay at "Wayberry." It's a great vacation rental; it was so quiet, pretty, comfortable, and cozy we didn't want to leave. Especially loved the hot tub and the fireplace. (Didn't get to use the screened porch much because it was so cold, but I'm sure in warmer weather it would make a great place to hang out & read a book. Thanks, Eleanor Ann Arbor, Michigan

The Wayberry is "our place"! Three of my dearest friends and I have been spending a week together, every summer for 9 years, scrapbooking, watching chick flicks, laughing, talking and sharing life. Our last three years have been spent at the Wayberry and we already have it booked for next summer- our 10th year! Matt is fun and helpful and he keeps the place beautiful. WE LOVE IT!

Matt and Jennie, Thanks again for the use of the cottage. It all went very, very well. Asking the children about what they liked best in the whole trip, our 4 year old said, "the red house." The children enjoyed the games (inside and out). The horse shoe game and the other one by the fire pit are wondeful ideas. The boys built fires every night. They couldn't believe the freedom they had to roam around and explore. The location is perfect for traveling west or north, not too far from Lake Michigan, or other lakes and parks. We loved our stay. Thank you very much for everything and we do hope we see you some day again, and meet you, Jennie. Johnny and Berry
