Our recently renovated Captain John Fripp Villa is by far the best with raised ceilings and renovated kitchen. Tile floors throughout the downstairs living area and new carpet upstairs.
This unit is located center island with an ocean view and a choice of pools with activities for everyone. Sit on your porch within steps of the private shared pool (available to only those in the complex), or take a short walk to the beach or to the Beach Club's Olympic Pool, Adult Pool or Fitness Center. For the golfer in the family there are two excellent courses. Bike trails throughout the island offer another diversion for the bikers in the family. Golf carts and bikes are available for rent - inquire at the Marina. The Raquet Club with ten Fast-Dry or hard courts is just across the street.
On those rainy days head to historic Beaufort, South Carolina, just 19 miles away or take a short trip to Charleston, Hilton Head or Savannah for sightseeing or shopping.
Fripp is a wonderful place for a family vacation. Our family has enjoyed our vists there, the only complaints we hear are when it is time to leave!

Very Nice Condo at Fripp Island

Our Family has gone to Fripp Island for over 25 years. We like staying in these condos because they are in a nice location and close to the pools. This condo was newly refurbished and had nice furniture. The beds were comfortable and the owners were very pleasant. Our kids are 9,7, and 4 and they loved having the pool be right outside the condo and they enjoyed playing with the other kids nearby. We were just a short walk to the beach. You can't really see the beach from the condo but it very close. All the condos in this complex are old and the bathrooms are small but this one was well-equipped and comfortable. We really liked the new kitchen layout; it is much nicer than the galley kitchen in some of the other condos. The upstairs a/c was extremely cold but very pleasant for sleeping. The Fripp Island housekeeping service does not always clean as well as I think they should. We found old band-aids and other small trash on the upstairs bedroom floor. But, it's a beach condo and it's hard to keep the sand and sunscreen off of everything so we were not worried if it was not perfectly clean. We would defintiely stay at this condo again. It is one of the nicest we have stayed at. We also liked the wireless internet service, but it was not a strong steady signal.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

Thank you for a wonderful week. What a perfect location for my family of 6. My children could run in and out safely. I love it! We spent the whole week swimming and on the beach. Tennis clinics were a breeze. We could walk the kids across the street for their tennis lessons and be back on the beach in just a few minutes. I would recommend this condo to anyone especially those with children who are looking for convenience. We had a great week and look forward to returning next year.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fripp. The house was great. Everything we needed was there, the place was very very clean, comfortable beds, beautifully decorated, and in a great spot. Our family had a wonderful time. We'd love to come back every year. We've been to Fripp a dozen times, but this was the best time. Thank you very much.
