The unit is just a stones throw from the beach, located across from the natural, unoccupied state-owned land adjacent to the Kamaole III Beach. "Kam 3 beach" is locally known as the loveliest of the three Kamaole beaches that string from central Kihei to Wailea.
The west facing beach has an excellent diving and swimming reef, sometimes a good surfing break (depending on the season), a nearby boat launch ramp, hiking trails, grass and sand with palm trees everywhere! Kihei is just a few blocks away... close enough for a five minute walk but just far enough to allow peace and quiet at this private low-rise resort. The Wailea area actually starts near the base of the resort driveway, and the lovely restaurants, stores, world-class golf courses and resorts are just a few blocks away.

Why the Owner Chose Maui Kamaole
This is the BEST condominium complex in Kihei. It's very close to Wailea, great golf courses and amazing shopping. I love that it overlooks the nature preserve and has a beautiful beach access.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
We have DSL and WiFi (for a fee) in our property, which is nice to do a little business while on vacation. The swimming pools are beautiful at this property. There is great snorkeling at our beach, and great restaurants nearby.

We were married in Maui, and fell in love with the island. We purchased our condo in February of 2006, and absolutely love it. Its "island casual" decor and breezy open layout is perfect for us. We have just completely romodeled the condo! Our 10 day stay was relaxing, however we really put in the effort in order to make this condo modern and convient. We added the things that we use often like new glass top stove/oven, wireless high speed internet, a new 27" TV in the family room, all new bed linens, area rugs, kitchen utensils, dinnerware, silverware and glassware, new Hawaiian themed art throughout, lamps, lighting fixtures, cordless telephone, and we tiled and furnished the 2nd Lanai (off the bedroom) making it a lovely area to spend private time. We hope this unit will make you feel at home on the island and that you will choose to return to this unit as one of our regular guests. Mahalo and Aloha.
