Laundry facilities are on-site. There is a fireplace, cable TV, VCR, and music system on each level. Bring your favorite CDs or Cassettes. The kitchen is fully-equipped, just bring your own food. There is outdoor parking for three cars. This is a child-friendly home with a safety gate at the stair top. There are books, movies, toys and games to enjoy during your stay.
You will experience an awe-inspiring view from the large deck and upper living area, including Pacific ocean waves crashing onto the two-mile long Salmon Creek Beach, coastal hills and the meandering Salmon Creek as it snakes its way to the sea.
At the coast, local activities include hiking the bluffs or through the Redwood groves, kayaking, surfing, whale watching, horseback riding and fishing. Nearby golf courses include Bodega Harbour Golf Links, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Northwood, a nine-hole gem cut amongst the redwoods along the Russian River, designed by Alister MacKensie, who designed Augusta National and Cypress Point. Further afield, dining, antiqueing, and exploring the hamlelts of Bodega, Freestone, Valley Ford, Bodega Bay, Duncan Mills or Sebastopol; wine tasting through the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country; visiting historic Fort Ross, plus San Francisco and the Bay Area are easily accessible by car or by ferry from Marin.
