This holiday house is set in the beautiful East Lothian village of Gullane. The house is finished to a high standard - solid oak floors, modern bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. The sandy beach is just 5 minutes walk away and the first tee at Gullane golf course is situated 400 yards away. The house enjoys a panoramic view of the children's golf course from the 1st floor family room. Sleeps up to eight people with three large attractive and bright twin rooms. The 1st floor family room includes a large double sofa bed. Two of the bedrooms has en suite shower rooms and there is family bathroom and downstairs WC. Modern, fully equipped kitchen opens out onto the dining area. Family sun room with French doors to an enclosed garden with patio seating area and barbecue. Off-street parking.


Golf: Gullane is surrounded by golf. 3 Gullane golf courses at one end with Muirfield at the other.

The West Links of North Berwick starts and finishes within the town. It is an Open qualifying venue and presents many fine holes - including the famous 15th (Redan) which is one of the most copied golf holes in the world.

Beach: Gullane Bents is a glorious sandy beach from which there are extensive views of the Firth of Forth. It is a popular family beach ideal for sunbathing, walking, kite flying, picnics and windsurfing and canoeing. The sea buckthorn and the extensive back dune system provides a haven for small birds.
Yellowcraig is a natural cove beach with spectacular views to the 1885 lighthouse on Fidra Island, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson famous tale Treasure Island. It is a popular family beach, which offers a nature trail, barbecue site (which must be pre-booked with the council) and a network of footpaths through the sheltered woodlands and extensive grassland. There is a dog walk away from the beach and the beach is good for horse riding too. Great for rock pooling here!

Edinburgh: Edinburgh city centre is 20 miles away. It is a 30 minute drive or alternatively, a 30 minute train trip from neighbouring villages Longriddry or North Berwick .The city combines the medieval Old Town, the Georgian New Town and award winning modern architecture. From the dominating and spectactular castle at the heart of the city to the new Scottish Parliament building, inspiration, creativity and vibrancy are in the air everywhere in Edinburgh. The city's annual highlights include the Edinburgh Festival and Hogmanay both of which attract visitors from all over the world.
