Map & Owner's Profile
Stillwater Mtn Lodge- Xski from the Door! Sleeps up to 21
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Whitefish Mountain
Stillwater Mountain Lodge is conveniently located just minutes from Whitefish, yet in the seclusion of the adjacent Stillwater State Forest. The Nordic trails meander through the forest, along ridgetops and along the lakeshore (and across Murray Lake when frozen!) In the summer, wildlife sightings, hiking and canoeing are just some of the reasons Stillwater's location is perfect for a vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge
Stillwater Mountain Lodge is the perfect setting for a family vacation - even if your family includes the 4 legged furry members! Dogs are welcome at Stillwater and have thousands of acres to play in the neighboring forest lands. Groomed cross country trails begin at your door in the winter (dogs are allowed on nearly 1/2 of the trails as well!)
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet, comfortable linens, organic shampoos and soaps to make your stay close to 'home'.
Owner's Map of Whitefish Mountain
Stillwater Mountain Lodge was started by two families- Kirsten and Reid Sabin, and Tom and Meagen Healy. The couples had a love for skiing and a vision to create an outdoor playground for the community of Whitefish and its visitors year round. After a year of hard work and renovation- Stillwater Mountain Lodge and Nordic Center was open! In the winter you can find Tom and Reid meticulously grooming the nordic trails or skiing with their families. In the summer, we all enjoy hiking, biking and canoeing in the area.

This is a wonderful place...definitely worth coming back to for a longer stay. Thank you for a beautiful, clean lodge with modern conveniences and terrific ski trails. Our sons, 6 & 8 loved sleeping in the loft and making snow towers below the balcony. We enjoyed meeting you, and hope to see you again next year.

What a great way to spend New Years, celebrate a birthday, and enjoy our family! We had a lovely time with 4 generations- 14 people under one roof. The lodge was perfect. We loved to ski and snowshoe and downhill ski & ice skaate. Seven nights was not long enough and we will be back! Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay here at Stillwater Mtnl Lodge! We decided a week was not enough time! There was plenty of room for the 11 of us. We enjoyed the deer. We never got tired of the views or the sounds we heard at night and the morning. Thank you for sharing your place with us!
